Novotel Nadi

We used the Novotel Nadi to "Leap-Frog" out to various areas in Fiji - and for this, it was exceptional. Nadi main street we found tiresome, with a ridiculous number of Sword-Sellers, Shopkeepers and Salespeople trying for for custom/money. One set of people we spoke to were chased while driving their hire car through the main street, by someone trying to sell their wares! Hence, the excellent location of the Novotel Nadi (about 10-15 minutes drive from this area), and wonderfully handy to the airport, which offers flights and bus pick-ups from straight out the front, for both north and south-bound routes. The South Seas Cruises (services the Mamanuca Island group) also offers a courtesy pick up from this hotel. The Novotel also has an excellent restaurant, with delicious food, at fairly reasonable rates. The staff were lovely all round...we would definitely stay here again. Excellent value for money!

Large fairly anonymous hotel but very convenient for the airport and with good transport to the terminal.

We booked at a very low rate and were accommodated in the older rooms. For the price it was brilliant but the rooms are clean but a bit tired. But it is very close to the airport and the meals were OK.

Took about 2 hours before we were served our dinner after ordering, the staff were very apologetic as they were very busy on that night. Complimentary transfer to the airport was good and easy as the hotel is close to the airport.

Excellent hotel, rooms are very clean and classy, tennis court and swimming pool are great, service was excellent, staff was very friendly and helpful, definitely going back there

The room was very nice clean,fresh and relatively modern. I aloof showers and my room had a separate shower stall,perfect. The pool was clean , but not sparkling clear water, I emphasize it was clean but the sparkling clear water would have made it perfect. The food was good not excellent but you did not have to eat in the restaurant although most did. The staff was courteous and friendly and even a modest tip was much appreciated although there were very few tippers. Overall Excellent especially for less than $60 US.

Great hotel for the price. Really good deal with late check out and 2 breakfasts for F$59.00. Staff were good. Good view out to the mountains would recommend it.

We were only in transit for two days,and the location was fantastic. We enjoyed being able to use local transport. The resort being on a hill gives a feeling of safety and openness. Most enjoyable.

It would be good if they had shuttle buses going to Nadi Town Centre - about 10 mins by bus, other than this the presentation of the hotel is great and its only a 5min trip by bus to the airport - the perfect transfer hotel not so sure about location if you don't have a hire car though.

I just love the place because the team is so friendly.Would recommend to anyone. Always stayed at the hotel since 1980.

Excellent and very helpful service.

Hotel has been refurbished and room was very nice, although air conditioning was old, noisy and not very efficient. Restaurant was a disappointment - slow service and ordinary food.

The service at the hotel was excellent. We stayed when the hotel was under extreme presssure from delayed flights and last minute bookings by airlines. The staff were very friendly and helpful during this time.
