Novotel Sydney Olympic Park Hotel

An excellent place to stay if you are attending any function in or near Olympic Park....

Was quite good, although the room was a little bit frayed around the edges. Bedroom was extremely small too.

Dont have enough lifts or staff at reception. The lines for both were rediculous.

For events at ANZ Stadium or Acer Arena the location is excellent

I had breakfasts, lunches and dinners in the Hotel, including a late meal to room - they were all consistently poor to mediocre - the best was probably the breakfasts. The hotel could defintely improve in this area. The decor of the room was very nice, however room was much too cluttered with 2 double(queen) beds in it! Would be much better with a table and chair or just a 2nd single rather than 2 dble beds squeezed into the room which left barely any room to move around in! Lack of toiletries (shampoo and shower gel only) in the bathroom was disappointing and cheapened the hotel.

Breakfast quality was poor, cheap cut bacon (I'm a butcher) that was fatty and tasted greasy, no mushrooms,beans that separated from the sauce and no fried egg option.I only eat a cooked breakfast on such occasions so I was disappointed to be presented with what I saw.However the rest of our stay was satisfactory.

Great location, friendly efficient staff, overall, a great place to stay.

We stayed in the newly refurbished King balcony room - very nice Great soundproofing with absolutely no noise Will certainly stay here again

It's a beautiful hotel with great views of olympic park. The room was very modern and very tidy! The staff members were very helpful and very happy. This made our stay very enjoyable and comfortable. It was a shame we had to leave!!!! Defiantly will use again! VERY HAPPY!

It took half an hour to book in due to a bus load of people going to a show arriving just before us. Not enough check in people, we stood in a line waiting. Hotel car park was full, I had to park the car myself about 200 meters away and carry bags to hotel, as instructed by staff. The rooms are starting to show age, ( about 10 years ) and are in need of a coat of paint.

This hotel is in urgent need of an overhall. Walls are marked, carpets,curtains & windows are dirty. Reception staff are friendly and helpful but the rooms are awful!

Check in was very,very,slow and inefficient.Excellent location for any event in the area.Overpriced and restauarant was just fair in food and service.

Very good location and suitability for me & my staff who had a job on at the Acer Arena. Handy to the City, Airport and other nearby facilities. Highly recommended. Many thanks for a great stay.

The only thing I would question is the $35 charge per day for parking. This is the first hotel I have stayed at any where in the world where I have been charged for parking at the facility.

This Novotel is a good location for conferences an events in the honebush area.A tad overpriced in my view given the lack of some usual four star facilities. Godd staff with pleasant approach.Excellent views across the sporting surrounds.

Good place to stay after a concert

The hotel is badly in need of reburshiment and the rooms are small and 'tired'. Lack of broadband facilities, poor quality TV and reception; limited inroom entertainment. Restaurant cuisine and wine choice limited and of poor quality considering this is a 4 star hotel! - (and only one restaurant and one wine bar to choose from); this is unacceptable for a hotel located so far from alternative facilities. Be aware that you need to "bus" "Taxi" or "Train" to any other dining or entertainment options.

Curtains dirty, windows even dirtier, bed sheet had large hole in it, TV reception poor, room tired and "knocked about". Reception staff very busy, long wait for check in and out. I complained upon departure and was assured the duty manager would ring me the next day. Still haven't heard from anyone.

My stay here was very pleasurable, all the staff were very pleasant and helpfull, just great value for money.
