Getting there:Located in the centre of Hamilton on Victoria Street. 20 min by taxi or shuttle from Hamilton International Airport. 5 mins from the Hamilton Transport Centre.
Check-in Procedure:Check-in time is any time from 2pm. A $100.00 cash deposit per night is required if a credit card cannot be supplied at time of check-in for a pre-authorization. We look forward to welcoming you to the Novotel Tainui Hamilton.
Car parking:Valet Parking is available for $18.00 per day
Child Policy:Extra Adult: $ NZ 45 (Max 3 Adults per room) Up to 2 children, under 16 years, utilising existing bedding in the room are free of charge including breakfast.
Overall the Hotel and service was really good. The only thing that let it down was that when we arrived there were about a dozen cars scattered around the entrance way and it just looked terrible it also blocked the entrance. Maybe some lines painted for the cars to park in would be a good idea.
We found the staff most helpful and the service was excellent. P.S. Your no.1 rating screen does not line up.

A good hotel on the banks of the Waikato River. Close to all the good restaurants and casino.
The reception and cleaning staff provided exceptional friendly and helpful service. Our group took full advantage of the gym and spa and thought it was absolutely divine. Wonderful facilities!!! Our group had a most enjoyable time and will definitely be back if on business in Hamilton.

A good hotel, very centrally located. Rooms overlooking the business district could be quieter! And there are some signs of wear in the carpets and furniture.
Fantastic location right in the heart of hamilton city. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean and nicely furnitured. Price wise very affordable from food to drinks. Would definitely stay there again.
Reception staff were courteous, location was excellent and the room would have been much nicer if my husband did not ask for a smoking room. The smell of stale smoke was a bit over the top even for him! I would stay here again but only in a no smoking room.
I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was not to my standard of cleaniness, but might be acceptable to others. The location was good, but I do not see why I have to pay for Hotel Parking.
Stayed for two nights and would have loved to stay more... Impressed with the service all round, especially the front desk always received immediate attention day or night and checkout there was no waiting - most impressed! Will try and find another excuse to stay there again
We love coming to this Hotel. The Service is always consistant and they remember who you are,and always go out of their way to make your stay just amazing. Thank you guys for your dedication and hard work, you deserve a lot of credit for your return visitors.
Well located in CBD, close to restaurants & bars. In a side street so not noisy. Ask for a riverview room, as these are best located.

A bit disappointing that parking was an extra cost and not undercover.
