Novotel Twin Waters Resort Sunshine Coast

Great place for young families as there were lots of facilities for young children to be entertained. There is a carnival atmosphere over the New Year period with the hotel providing entertainment and rides for the kids and young at heart on New Year's Eve. Would have been better if rides were free for all children staying at the hotel rather than the hefty fee parents had to pay per child for the night. Location is great on the coast, facilities great and generally staff very helpful.

Excellent Property and very well kept Rooms, was well worth the money.

The staff at this hotel would have to be the friendliest and most accommodating of any hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are large and airy. A very pleasant experience.

Very nice resort just not close enough to shops and restaurants really enjoyed our stay. the easter egg hunt was a hit

A great family resort, although a few things to be aware of:- - The resort is close to the airport, but does not offer a hotel transfer service? - The Lilys restaurant is not open very much, so if you're looking for a romantic full A-la-Carte dinner with your partner, then you may need to check if this restaurant is even open on the night you want. - The hotel has no facility to allow you to play your own DVD's or CDs in your room. - You can't order breakfast to your room, lunch and dinner yes, but not breakfast? Other than these, I would rate this resort as good, especially for a family style break. For us it was a 25th wedding anniversary, and the hotel did give us a bottle of champagne in the room, so that was nice. But the other issues above didn't make for as romantic a time as we were hoping for.

Novotel Twin Waters was a great resort, especially for the boys (two aged 7 & 6), they were in their element, heaps of activities for them to enjoy while us Oldies, as they liked to call us, could relax and do our thing. Would and have recommended to friends with children and also without, as there are activities in the region for adults to enjoy as well.

Enjoyed the stay, the five star restaurant is quite something! the food and wines were absolutely the best! The staff were very friendly and would stay there again on a regular basis for business or pleasure.

The room was basic but had a pleasant outlook. The landscaped gardens are lovely. There was no mini bar. Waiting times for food orders at the bar during peak times were quite lengthy (up to an hour). Long queues for the breakfast buffet although food was delicious and plentiful once you got a table. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very nice scenery. Too bad that the hotel is not within walking distance to any shops or restaurants. The price for take-away food in one of the restaurants was reasonable and the staff are friendly too.

Hallway/Corridor entrance to rooms a bit dingy - needs a facelift. Other then that - all other aspects exceptional.

This is a resort with well appointed facilities and suitable for singles, couples as well as families. The coastal setting adds to the ambience of the establishment, with its lagoon and manicured gqrdens.

Great hotel for kids as there is lots of things to do and my daughterloved the pool and being able to sail and canoe on the lake.

Poor directions to function rooms and accomodation. Staff friendly Did not have function room set up prior to people arriving.

A great stay for the price but the exterior of the units is pretty basic. A good location for families, not so good for couples.

We stayed at Twin Waters for our anniversary, We used to stay each anniversary when our kids were younger & having told the reception in conversation,we were happily surprised to find a bottle of champagne & card compliments of the staff. This personal attention to service is wonderful! It made the weekend extra special!

Great resort in great location. Only disappointment was the very limited menu in the main restaurant on the night I dined there (Monday).

Twin Waters is always a great place to holiday.The water activities are fun, especially when the trampoline is in the water. The rooms are a bit small but there is so much to do, you don't spend much time in the rooms. You will not be disappointed with this resort.

For accommodation I paid the same for one adult and one child as I would have done for two adults and two children. Perhaps single parents could be given a better rate? Even though it was holiday season the grounds and nearby attractions meant that the facilites weren't overrun with children. We asked the restaurant staff which were the quieter times to attend for breakfast and dinner which worked out well.
