"The hotel was very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. The building is quite old but it seems renovated. In the first day the breakfast was good and everything fresh, but the second day the bread and croissants were cold. It is located near to the train station from where you can take the train for your trip to Pompei. It doesn't have car parking facilities but it cooperates with a car parking very close where you can leave safely your car for 14 euros per day. Also, it provides free WiFi Internet. Her 58 rooms, endowed with all conforts, are furnished with a classical design style '800. There are also a restaurant for breakfast, 3 meeting rooms and internet point, bar, and billiard room where our guests can spent their free time.
History
Hotel among the most ancient in Naples, end of the eighteenth century, as it testifies the famous painter German Christian Wilhelm Allers who was usual to sojourn you in 1892 remembering in his book that a good traveller "it won't repent of a lodging in a hotel next to the Station and a lunch in one of the good restaurants of the place"........ "for this, every time that I come to Naples, I always stay in a hotel near Station, and precisely the hotel Rebecchino, already Romano Building, that leans out on the Course Garibaldi, always full of life. This hotel is connected with an elegant restaurant, illuminated in the evening with electric light, where I spent a good time being sit with a jug of wine of the fiery Vesuvius for observing through the opened door the life of the Course and Plaza of the Station" (from You Bella Napoli - Von Allers - Union Deutsche Derlagsgesellschaft). Raffaele Viviani, famous writer of the eight hundred Neapolitan, quotes him/it in his "Assunta Spina" calling it The Tavern of Rebecchino.

IF YOU ARRIVE BY FLIGHT:You can arrive at Hotel in 10 minutes from the airport by taxi, rate taxi around €15. From airport you can catch also the direct bus called "ALIBUS", arriving at Central Station of Naples Piazza Garibaldi, or one of this public bus: 14, 15, S3, direct to Piazza Garibaldi. From Piazza Garibaldi going to Corso Garibaldi you arrive at hotel after few meters.
IF YOU ARRIVE BY CAR: You must exit to "NAPOLI STAZIONE" and you follow the indication Piazza Carlo III or Via Foria. For reaching this you must go trough Corso Garibaldi, where we are.
