Oaks Felix Brisbane

Room 75. Great 2 bedroom Apartment with views of Brisbane River, there is a building blocking part of the view, but we were able to see ALL of the Story Bridge from our lounge chair, Had everything Kitchen, washer, dryer, great shower and very comfy bed. Easy walking distance to all of brisbane including the rail stn, casino and botanical gardens. This motel is on the FREE BUS LOOP. which is great for those lazy days, food outlets from hamburgers to ARIAS restaurant just 2 mins walk, convenience store next door, Great place to stay...10/10 from us (pair 50yr olds)

This hotel was excellent, clean and in a good location with a great view of the river(we were on the 12 th floor) The only small complaint was the lift which always smelt of a cooking odour

Very good location. Overall it was a nice place to stay and staff were helpfull. The only bad thing was the kettle was dirty and I had to use the stove to boil water.

The location and the views are excellent, the customer service was too good and the staff are doing an excellent work. Just that the pool is too small to go for a swim.

Excellent location, brilliant view over the Brisbane river from the 30th floor. Will definitely stay here again.

the location is great, close to the city main street, but also quiet. the room is clean. Will choose this service apartment if go to Brisbane next time.

Great location-Nice and quiet yet very close to Queen Street and Eagle Street Restaurant precinct. No Air-conditioning in Bedrooms - Not Good and old CRT 4:3 TV in lounge room. No TV in main bedroom, No TV guide for Free to air and Foxtel.

Terrific location for business travellers in the heart of the CBD with very good access to restaurants along the Brisbane River. Access to walking and bike paths along the river also beneficial.

For a hotel with a reasonable price tag, this one was rather dirty (there were dead bugs squashed against the wall...), and pretty average on facilities. The room still had an old CRT TV that barely got the channels it was supposed to, and the rest of the facilities were just as old. Great location, average everything else.

Clean and comfortable accommodation, great location for shopping in the mall and great views of the river. However the lift area smelt like parmesan cheese and the car parking bays were tight to get in and out of if you have a large car. Overall good accommodation that was clean.

Great base for sightseeing or business. Reception Service was not great. Tourist information at reception was limited. TV Reception was really bad but had eveything you require as place to sleep, was clean and well presented.

Brilliant location.. great room. (T.v. in Bedroom needs a remote). Service was fantastic.. including one of the reception staff offering the use of his own personal umbrella when weather turned bad. Literally a two minute walk to some Brisbane's best restaurants and pubs right on the river and a 5 minute walk to the Botanical gardens. Couldn't ask for better than that.

This is a great place to stay. The apartment was modern, clean and a good size with a great view. We also liked the location as it was central to most things.

Extremely comfortable and quick access to the ferries. Surrounded by excellent restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

The Oaks Felix is only a block from the Riverside district of restaurants, and is close to both the CityCat and City Ferry stops, as well as various bus stops. There is a taxi rank across the street. We found it conveniently located for our needs, which included going to the Brisbane Convention Center. The apartment was located on the 33rd floor, overlooking the river, and had a balcony. The kitchen was well equiped and the room had daily maid service. The price-value ratio is good. Only complaint was the poor lighting, which was mostly whitish flourescent bulbs. The amount of light in the main bathroom was so minimal that it was impossible to put on makeup.

Great Location and facilities however staff atiitude is less than friendly and helpful.

Great rooms all with excellent views over Brisbane CDB and the river. Clean and tidy with everthing you would need for short or long stay.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Location was good, rooms were clean and beautiful views of the river from our balcony. Staff efficient although lacking a personal touch.

Well positioned to the Eagle Street eateries.

We loved the apartment. It was very conveniently located toward the bottom of Edward Street, near the river, the botanic gardens, and some really good restaurants (like Restaurant Two or Euro). You can get a yummy meal or takeaway charged to the room from Ching Ching, a good Asian restaurant around the corner in Felix Street, while there's a big Woolworths supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away towards Queen Street. It's a great place adn nothing was too much trouble for the reception staff. We loved it.
