"Everything about the Oaks was great apart from the service. I tried to ring & confirm twin status the Oaks 1300 number kept me on hold and then disconnected three times . When I asked at the desk, they said it was unfortunate but they would do the beds while we had dinner. On our return two hours later still not done, rang reception & they would be up immediately and apologised. An hour later I called again & a recorded message said all operators were busy. We gave up.
The other service issue related to the $200.00 taken from your credit card account as bond. I had travelled overseas and my credit card had been blocked & being replaced. Prepared I had cash on me, I was actually made to feel like a criminal in wanting to provide a cash bond. Apart from the service though the place was absolutley fantastic.

"the design was lovely and very unique and the location is convenient though was initially a little difficult to locate. The staff were both friendly and helpful. The pricing was fantastic! it could have a better tv, and there is a lack of natural lighting but that is well compensated for in the other lighting options provided. "Very well fitted out had dishwasher/dryer/washing machine. Was a very large building not a lot of natural light and our balcony looked out onto the carpark and the rubbish bins!! Only there for one night, very easy to walk to the habour would stay there again." - wendy hardy
