"Stayed in a 2 bed apartment for a week in early February - mid summer. The air conditioning in the room was very good. Corridors, lift lobbies etc were not air conditioned and badly ventilated - sweltering at times, particularly when waiting for lifts. The apartment was small but adequate and had all essential facilities. Excellant shower. Small cheap TV with very limited choice of channels and poor reception. Floors and settee a bit sticky which was off putting. The area is not nice - on a main road next to the central police station and along the street from the night shelter for the homeless. Reasonably close to the CBD though. We opted for a non-serviced rate which was very cheap and quite good value for the money. Parking was a rip-off at $20 per night and had to be booked in advance.
