"This was really value for money. The location was central to the heart of Christchurch and the staff were very helpful. Although, as stated in other reviews, it could be noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, our apartment was at the back so was a bit quieter. Probably a better hotel in winter as there wasn't any airconditioning, so did get a bit hot. Despite this we would recommend it to anyone." - Maryann cook
"Untrained staff were left in charge and didn't know what they were doing.We were given an incorrect room and staff had not been told there were breakfast vouchers for us in their drawer. Our room was upgraded but this all took time and effort on our part. The vouchers were not discovered for two days and we were not refunded." - Anonymous
