Oakwood Manor Motor Inn Auckland

"Stayed here the night before flying to Australia. I was a bit apprehensive of what it would be like after reading some of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Check in was very efficient and friendly. The room was a bit dated but clean,tidy and quiet. It was very spacious with a well set up kitchenette. I booked a wake up call (3.45am!)and the shuttle for 4.15am and had no problems with either. I left my car there for free for 11 days and then rang for the shuttle when we got back to NZ. A good efficient service. Oakwood Manor had just had new managers take over and I would think that there will be improvements made in the future. Would stay here again." - Anonymous

"This is one VERY tired motor inn. I must make a mental note never to stay there again. They are close to Auckland airport and allow free car parking for up to a week if you stay a night. There is plenty of other accommodation nearby that offer the same thing, and I will be looking at those options rather than stay here again. " - Bill Evans
