"This is a slightly old-fashioned, but nicely refurbished, family motel, built around one of the nicest hot pools in Taupo. It can be a bit expensive at school holiday time (and probably hosts clients whose parents first took them there back in the 1970s or 1980s) but is very good value at other times.
