"The place was clean & modern. We had the room with the pool view. Found it difficult to get to the lake even though it was just a few secs away. They didn't provide the key to the gates to get to the water. The lady at reception was rude and didn't seemed bothered. " - Anonymous

"A very comfortable and well appointed room for a good rate. I will certainly stay here in future. Cosy and warm, (it was -5C outside in the morning with a couple enjoying the outdoor heated pool). "This is a slightly old-fashioned, but nicely refurbished, family motel, built around one of the nicest hot pools in Taupo. It can be a bit expensive at school holiday time (and probably hosts clients whose parents first took them there back in the 1970s or 1980s) but is very good value at other times. The units are decently equipped for self-catering." - John Webster
