"This hotel was ideally suited being near the port, and also near the Cathedral and shops.
All the restaurants were only just a short walk from the hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful and had very good english. The hotel room was cleaned every day and cleaning staff very nice.

"We found the Bahia in Santander to be an excellent choice; large rooms, friendly and helpful service, a great location (close to rail and bus stations and shops) with lovely views, and even a good selection of toiletries in the bathroom! "Very convenient for Brittany Ferry berth. Rooms are very good and there is a garage which is a great boon if the car is loaded.
There is a good restaurant and the bar serves food too. But be warned - the bar is taken over in the evening by a large number of grannies who go for one drink and a long chat. (Possibly an alternative to the paseo in the winter). They are gone by 9pm!" - David Gill
