Family owned and managed modern 14 room motel, refurbished Sept 2008, brand new furniture, linen, carpets, 19" LCD TV, DVD player with USB slot, Off street undercover parking, most rooms overlooking lovely tropical pool and bbq area, guest laundry and kitchen, close to transport, shops, restaurants, Pacific Fair, Jupiter's Casino and Convention Centre. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. All rooms wheelchair accessible.

Getting there:Ocean Blue Motel is located beach side of the Gold Coast Highway, 5 minutes by car south of Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and Jupiter's Casino on the corner of Heron Avenue and the Gold Coast Highway. Buses heading south, stop outside the door, buses heading north stop opposite side of road and down 200m.
Check-in Procedure:Guests may check in earlier provided room is ready. If you plan to arrive after office hours (between 9pm and 8am), please notify reception prior to your arrival to arrange after hours key pick-up.
Car parking:All off street parking, dual entry driveway. Some undercover and some parking outside room. There is no charge for carparking.
Child Policy:A person is considered to be a child up to 12 years (inclusive). Children under 2 years are free of charge provided no additional bedding is required.
This Motel was very convenient to the place of business I was visiting . the Staff was cordial and my room was away from the highway thus no noise from the road trafic.
The location is great. Just far enough out of town to miss the hussle and bussle but not more than 10mins to get in there. 2 minute walk to the beach and a nice pool area with bbq. Would definately stay again - staff nice, helpful and friendly

Cozy yet superb in comfort. Though we stayed for only a couple of nights, we enjoyed the tranquility of the place. Staffs are friendly and you feel at home. We'll definitely recommend to friends. You'll get value for money....Please keep it up..
located on the gold coast highway it's easy to get to. the beach is only a 5 minute stroll down the side street. the only down side was the awkard set up of the aircon - it was in the bathroom, so it took a couple hours for the main room to cool down. otherwise a very nice place to stay!
We feel we got value for money. The motel was clean, tastefully updated and had a comfortable bed. We would stay there again.
Unfortunately there was no support rail in the swimming pool to assist diabled/aged people to get in and in particular get out of the pool.

Located 4 blocks from the beach and 6 km South of Surfers Paradise. We really enjoyed our stay. Ask for Room Number 8.
