Metered taxi fare is in the $5–$15 range. Public buses run from in front of the airport terminal’s main entrance with fares less than $5, but require a transfer. Rental cars, Town Cars, and limousines are more than $36.
This Daytona Beach hotel is on the quieter end of Atlantic Avenue but both buses and the turn-of-the-century style trolley stop in front of the hotel, making it convenient to travel along Atlantic Avenue to explore further dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
Single fares for both buses and trolleys are less than $5. The trolley runs from mid-January through Labor Day in September.
Driving is the best way to explore along A1A. Driving is permitted on designated lengths of the beaches during daylight hours. Car rentals are available online.
