Oceanside Resort & Twin Towers is situated at the foot of Mt Maunganui, with the Harbour Beach on one side and the Ocean Beach on the other. It's one of New Zealand's most popular beaches with surf and harbour swimming. We're the preferred Bay Of Plenty destination for the New Zealand All Blacks and the New Zealand Sevens! Our complex consists of 60 spacious units with lift access. The three-level RESORT located behind the Twin Towers has spacious Executive Studio units with a super king bed, double sofa bed, microwave kitchenette, sleeps 1-4 & now with brand new 42" plasma tv & dvd. The One & Two Bedroom suites in the Resort sleep 1-6 with full kitchen facilities, 1-2 bathrooms. Full laundry facilities are available to the guests. Our rooms are the most spacious in the Mount. The TWIN TOWERS luxury high-rise apartments have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and laundry facilities, large balconies with views. Other facilities include Sky Digital TV, heated pools, gym, sauna, secure underground parking and restaurant/cafe facilities. Two conference rooms are available within the complex which will seat up to 80 people. The Boardroom adjoins the Conference Room and is ideal as a breakout room or for smaller meetings of approximately ten people. The Conference Room is 140 square metres and is ideal for conferences, seminars, and product displays etc, with catering facilities available if required.

Getting there:From Auckland Follow signs on the motorway to HAMILTON / TAURANGA. Go over the Bombay hills (McDonalds & BP petrol station at the top of the hill right-hand side), stay left and when you go down the hill turn left to TAURANGA (do not go straight ahead to Hamilton). You will now be on State Highway 2 (SH2) Follow SH2 to Tauranga, going through several towns: Paeroa Waihi Katikati Te Puna Bethlehem You will be entering on our motorway. Follow signs to Mount Maunganui over the Harbour Bridge. Once off the Bridge turn left at the 2nd set of traffic lights into Totara Street, keep going till the end. At this intersection turn right & then a quick left at the roundabout and you will now be on Maunganui Road. Keep heading straight down, through the main shops, heading towards the big mountain (Mt Maunganui), and we are situated at the base of the ''Mount'' in the three storey building on the right-hand corner, drive in under the canopy.
Check-in Procedure:The front desk is open until 8.00pm. For late check in after 8.00pm, please phone the front desk prior. Early check is subject to availability.
Car parking:There is one free secure underground parking spot per room booked. Please ask at reception about extra parking, as all rooms have designated parking stalls, and there is limited extra parking in the secure parking lot. Extra charges may apply as well.
Child Policy:Rates are based on 2 adults sharing unless specified in Room Inclusions of your selected deal. Additional people are charged at NZD $35 per person per night.

Each apartment has a queen bed in the master bedroom with double bath ensuite, two singles in the second bedroom with own bathroom, optional double sofa bed in lounge, spacious full kitchen, living and dining area, full laundry facilities, and sky TV. Serviced on check-out only.

It seemed odd that the restaurant/bar was closed at 9.30 on a Fri night.
Would definitely stay again, if I can continue to get at the price I got.
Perfect for a family who want to go self-catering, though plenty of decent places to eat next to the hotel or up the main street.
We were really pleased with this accommodation. Fully self contained and very clean. Staff were very helpful. Secure parking a bonus. No on-site restaurant etc., but walking distance to many eating houses. Would definitely stay here again.
I would probably stay again. Great superking bed.
While being big the bed was not as comfortable as expected. It was a little soft. The television reception was also very poor on all channels. I would expect better from a 4 star hotel.

Access is a little difficult to find when you 1st arrive, thinking the accommodation is in the Twin Towers, when in fact it is adjacent to them! Great loaction for making the most of the beach & Mount. In September the majority of the restaurants surrounding the Twin Towers are closed at night, but there is a great choice for breakfast.
Although the area where the hotel is situated is very attractive, it was disappointing that the room was without any views. Rooms are spacious but are definitaley getting dated and a bit tired. Bed was uncomfortable. Slightly overpriced but had a great time at the fantastic destination

We were very impressed with the friendliness of the front desk staff and the room was immaculate and very roomy. Everything was fabulous.
The studio room was extremely spacious room which was a pleasant surprise. Super handy location and the staff friendly. We also arranged a late check out at no extra cost. Would stay again.
The Oceanside is in a fantastic location, was modern and spotlessly clean. However, for the price I felt the service was fairly basic. Also, the underground parking was absolutely dibolical for a 4x4 - a very tight squeeze!
