Octavia Hotel Rome

"Good basic hotel, no restaurant but breakfast was ok as long as you like sweet, sugary food. Very close to suburban railway link into Rome, with a cost of 4 euros a day on the train and bus anywhere in ROME. Staff very obliging and helpful." - trevor leigh

"Place was well located next to a train station...ashame the transport system is not like in Paris where trains stations are regular and frequent. Dissappointing breakfast and no internet, but have a cheap internet place down the road. Get what you pay for. Would stay there again if needed." - Anonymous

"Hotel was decorated with lots of stone/marble floors - looked good but echoed in the halls. Dining area - quite large, split level, very light and airy. Possibly redecorated recently. There is an underground carpark. Walls a bit thin - can hear snoring. Twin/doubles had a balcony. No complaints about hotel as such. Staff have very limited english - take a phrase book - but they are helpful. Only downside is location. Bit far out from city centre so can limit time in city.....but certainly hear the birds in the morning - very nice." - Anonymous
