Fantastic place to stay, everyone was so warm and welcoming. Traditional Irish no frills bar, great atmosphere. I was nervous as a went alone but there was really no need. I will without a shadow of a doubt be staying there again.
high price- No breakfast, no people for check out in the morning.
Good: Great central location for a night out. Clean, cheap. Bad: noise. Was on top floor and it was like being out on the street. An ideal location for the Lads to see the City night life. I’ll be back.
Best place to stay in Dublin :)
Location was perfect. Room was clean and large. Will stay here again.
Pretty handy location within walking distance of Temple Bar and beyond. No problem booking in and paying of course but we were slurping a beautiful pint of Guinness in the traditional bar within a whisker of getting there. The bar was adorned with pictures of some greats of Irish culture and music and a spontaneous rendition of Danny Boy came from the snug. The guest rooms were linked to the main pub and had a pretty steep and narrow stair up to them. OK for us but watch out if you struggle with things like that. Our triple room was large, clean and fine. Shower cubicle within decent sized bathroom. One double bed and two singles in the room - could have slept four. Didn't take breakfast and ate out but Dublin is pretty expensive to be quite honest and make sure your card is pumped up with cash cos you're gonna need it! Really would recommend this friendly and more personal pub/guest house as it makes a refreshing change to the spartan parcelboard places that the big chains have to offer.
Muy recomendable porque está en una zona muy buena y en el pub de abajo tienen música en directo. El personalmuy amable. No tiene servicio de limpieza de habitaciones diario
In my humble opinion it's a little bit overpriced.
the only problem was that it doesn't have internet access, apart from that we would stay there again as the accommodation was clean and reasonably priced. Also very central to where we needed to go.
A nice and friendly place with a fantastic pub!
Ask them to check the room lighting. 3 out of 6 lamps not working.
On initial booking I wasn't very optimistic about staying here as I thought it would be a few rooms over a noisy pub, but we got a very large apartment with the flexibility to leave when we wanted as no people were booked in the following day. Service and location were good, the only slightly down side was that it could have been done with being cleaned slightly better. However I would definately recommend this place.
Great location. Warm welcome. Good craic in the bar and fantastic music. Maybe a little pricey but worth it.
We actually stayed in the 2 bed apatment and it was fantastic. Very clean and modern, sky tv, 2 beds 2 bathrooms, secure door entry, very very nice throughout. We cant fault this apartment or the wonderful staff in any way and are in fact hoping to book it again for next year.Fully reccomended.
I booked a double, and got a whole two-bedroom apartment with two double beds. THe apartments are fantastic, with nice facilities and bathrooms.
The hotel rooms were clean and roomy. The ensuites clean and adequate. Stairs only to the upper floors so it maybe a good idea for the older guests to request lower floor rooms. Friendly and ideally situated to shops, pubs, restaurants and sightseeing bus stops as well as the airort bus stop. Only the TV was a little small to view comfortably but I would happily recommend the hotel to others. I would happily stay there again!
Really liked this guesthouse. Loved being so close to the city centre, and being practically over one of the best trad pubs in Dublin!! Bedroom was really nice and very clean and comfy. Every member of staff I met was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place to stay and am looking forward to my return visit next month already!
This was a place without breakfast, but there were to excellent shops just across the street where you could get anything you needed.
Lovely location just a few minutes walk from the centre. Nice size rooms and conveniently over a pub!
Good value for money and superb location - spoilt only by traffic noise. Sheets and bedding etc all clean - but wardrobes, cupboards and corner areas very dusty. Check in procedure is a bit chaotic as bar is so busy. But it remains good value and a location where you have a lot of freedom and I'd stay again.
