"ideally located for sightseeing by foot. staff very acommodating and professional. breakfast was excellent and had us set up for each day. breakfast manager was second to none and the best i've ever seen and great fun. weather was predictable for january but it was a fabulous break and the hotel was fabulous." - julie anne drudy
"Great hotel bang in the centre of Edinburgh just above Princes Street shops. Easy access from airport - airport bus terminus is just across the road. Taxi rent outside on street and Edinburgh's premier department store, Jenners, is just across the road. Many rooms have side on view of the Castle and Princes Street. Breakfast was buffet style with as much as you could eat and staff were most helpful. A huge plus is that you can leave your bags in a locked cupboard while you explore the city and pick them up later on day of departure. Evening meal is high standard and very good value for money but there are other eateries close by." - Anonymous
"This hotel is extremely well located on Princes Street within 50 yards of the drop off and collection point for the Airport bus making it the ideal base for a short stay. The room we stayed in was very small for a double and had been recently painted. It was clean but still had the smell of the paint which made for an uneasy sleep and sore throats in the morning! That aside, I would recommend this for a short stay as the location and price cannot be beaten. " - Christine Houlahan
"The rooms were basic and small but clean. The location was very good." - Aoidhan McGuinness
