"We were more than pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel after a "very" long flight from Australia. Reception staff were very friendly, professional and welcoming and the room facilities were excellent. We were struck with the quietness of the rooms - no hint of outside noise or from the rooms next door. A great plus was the choice of air conditioning or the ability to slightly open the window in the room. Hotel Olissippo is very well located in terms of both Lisbon airport and the Oriente transport hub. We will be returning to this hotel within a week." - John Kumm


"Good location - close to bus/metro/train station (and only a few minutes drive from the airport). An ample selection of restaurants/bars + a shopping centre close by too. The Expo98 (water gardens, cable cars, aquarium, etc) and proximity to the river are great for just relaxing/a daytime or evening stroll. Hotel description:    The Hotel Olissippo Oriente is a modern four-star property located in Lisbon`s former Expo 98 site, which is now known as the Parque das Nações. Accommodation at the hotel comprises 182 rooms, including 14 suites and 2 rooms specially adapted for handicapped guests. On-site facilities at the Olissippo Oriente include a restaurant, bar, coffee shop with esplanade, wi-fi zones, garage parking and 5 meeting rooms. One major feature is the hotel`s very close proximity to the Lisbon Oceanarium, FIL fairground, Vasco da Gama shopping centre and the city`s new casino.

Getting there: By Bus from the Airport:
Take bus number 708 to Parque das Nações Norte and get off at Oriente station. If you are facing the river in front walk to your right side to Avenue D. Joao II and in 3 minutes you will reach the hotel.
By Car:

From the north:
- Coming from A1 to Lisbon, after the Alverca's Toll, continue straight ahead and take the exit number 2 (Estação Oriente, Aeroporto, Centro).
- At the roundabout, take the 4th exit to Avenue Berlim, in the direction of Estação Oriente and Parque das Nações.
- Continue ahead until you reach Estação Oriente, which will be on your left-hand side.
- At the traffic lights, turn right to Avenue Dom João II.
- The hotel will be on your left-hand side.
- Continue along the avenue and at the roundabout turn back.
- The hotel will now be on your right-hand side.
