Getting there:The hotel lies 15 kilometres from Barcelona Airport. From there, a bus or an underground train will take you directly to Plaa Catalunya, the square in which the Olivia Plaza Hotel is situated. If you come by car from "Diagonal Avenue" or "Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes" take "Passeig de Gracia" direction "Plaza Catalunya".

I liked this hotel a lot. I stayed with a friend, and we were on the go most of our time. All we wanted was a place that was centrally located, good quality for the price, and had a helpful and reliable staff. This place nailed it. Free internet was hugely helpful. The breakfast, while not free, was delicious. But in Barcelona, your options are many for dining! The neighborhood gets a little crazy, but the hotel is quiet and calm and cool.
Overall the hotel is a good one, but for a 4 star rating it leaves something to hope for. Rooms are small and not very well equipped: - triplex room: 1 twinbed and a couch (which isn't very comfortable to sleep in) - no space/furniture for keeping one's clothes - no water kettle for making morning coffee etc. - no iron nor trouser press in room Restaurant service is good, although some waiters were not very proffessional. Breakfast extremely expensive (17 eur/person, not included in room price). Location excellent!

Layout of room was unusual but excellent view of Plaza Catalunya. Would have liked a bath but terrific shower. Too used to tea/coffee facilities in British hotels... missed it. Otherwise a perfect location.

Staff were very helpful with placing telephone calls for us to the airline to assist us in locating our lost luggage. Breakfast food was very fresh and the outdoor terrace seating is very charming.
Hotel is situated centrally, beside Metro and La Ramblas. It is a new modern hotel and if that suits your taste I would highly recommend it. The staff were very helpful.

Excellent hotel in the very centre of Barcelona. Not large rooms but all you need - modern and funky design. Couldn't be better placed for access to shopping, sight-seeing etc. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.
Wonderful location at the center of everything. Metro stop os just steps away. Beware of pickpockets on meto though, they are all over. Hotel is european modern in decor. Very clean. Ask for room facing the back, as they are quieter. I would definetly stay here again.
Good hotel and great location.
Not yet sure if I'm charged the same sum as indicated when I booked. The receptionist was a bit inaccurate on this part. I will see this when I recieve my invoice on the creditcard. But this was a very nice hotel and I have already recommended it to a collegue who is visiting Barcelona soon.
The hotel is very modern. in a great location at the plaça catalunya. Although so central convenientit is a very quite and calm area, staff provided very good service.
The location of this hotel could not have been better, right on La Rambla and the rooms were fabulous. I would definitely stay here again.
