Opal Cove Resort Coffs Harbour

Great value for money with great facilities and ideal location

Super friendly/helpful staff, beautiful foyer, delicious breakfast. rooms need revamping very out dated decor, plus a broken door handle in bathroom and no sucure parking. Overall very nice place to stay and relax.

Nice place, good food at good prices but have poorly trained bar staff. They did not know what was available or where to find items. Service was not consistent or to a standard for a resort operation.

Great location and the resort is sprawled over several acres, so there is plenty of room for the kids. Good facilities and really enjoyed our stay. Would not hesitate to recommend to other people.

foyer looked nice. close to the beach, but the mattress itself was pretty dirty. just looks a bit rundown, for the money. Definitely wouldn't class it as a 4 star hotel. The gym is bare bones, and very musty. There is basically nothing at the hotel restaurant for a vegetarian.

The room was lovely, facilities great and the location beautiful. My partner and I had a wonderful relaxing few carefree days.

Nice place to stay. There was something in the spa in the morning which caused my silver jewellery to discolour. Very clean and reasonably priced. Would stay there again.

Great Hotel, Location was handy to everything.

The view was amazing and the room was very nice except for ants in the bedroom and bathroom. We unfortunately had a very below average meal in the restaurant. The pool and spa were nice except for cracking pavers and a few loose boards in the decking. Overall an enjoyable stay, the staff were all very accommodating.

A stopover on our way up the coast, Opal Cove was a very pleasant stay over night. We ate at the Brasserie and sat outside to enjoy the atmosphere, which was lovely. Although the decor is a little dated, we were very happy with our stay. Staff were very helpful.

At our next travel we will stay there again.

Great place to stay very quiet and relaxing, would love to stay longer, will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food in room (we have a night meal and breakfast was excellent and well priced)

Lovely resort but a bit tired

it was a very lovely resort and the service as well as the food at the restaurant and buffet breakfast were great also. When i go to Coffs Harbour next i will definately be staying there again without a doubt.

Nice place. Staff very friendly. could do with another pool and more sun loungers - especially when the new units are completed.

Room was nice and clean, and great value for the price.

Plus: Lots of lovely fluffy white towels available. Huge comfortable bed. Lovely hot water shower and spa. Television didn't work - very helpful and pleasant fellow from consierge desk on Sat afternoon Against: We didn't get a balcony room as advertised, we were overlooking the car park, just below ground level. A table to eat at would have been handy. A microwave would have been handy.

The only problem was that the coffee making facilities were hidden in a concealed cupboard that had no real indication that there was coffee. We enquired from reception about morning coffee in the room and the represenative, instead of advising us that the coffee facilities were in the room, told us that we could order coffee in the room but the room service charge would be $3,50. Otherwise very nice establishment.

Inspite of the rain we were made welcome by the friendly staff and enjoyed a great swim the next morning as the sun shined and we were given a late checkout !!!
