The Opera Cadet is located in the heart of Paris, in an enchanting semi-pedestrian street, within walking distance of the Opera, Grands Boulevards and famous Parisian department stores. The hotel was built in 1998 and entirely renovated in 2001. It is fully air-conditioned, has a bar, large lobbies and a lovely interior garden for delightful moments of relaxation.

Getting there:Wherever you come from, it is preferable to go towards the Place de la République and then follow this itinerary : Turn right on the Boulevard Saint Martin, and continue straight on down the Boulevard Saint Denis, and further on to the Boulevard Bonne Nouvelle, and then Boulevard Poissonnière till the end of the street. At the end of the Boulevard Poissonnière, turn right into the Rue du Faubourg Montmartre, and turn right once you’ve arrived to the 8th street, Rue La Fayette. Continue straight on down the Rue La Fayette until number 66, and next turn right in the Rue Cadet : the hotel is just at the beginning of the street, on the left.

the room was a little small for a triple but the location is good and the breakfast is adequate. there is a great street market operating daily. also the reception staff are very helpful and obliging as well as jarc the african barman is a legend.the breakfast staff are very efficient. apart from limited room facilities everything was ok.
This hotel is more modern than many of the hotels in Paris but as a result is quiet at night and everything works well. Breakfast is included and is buffet style with cereals ,pastires & croissants & lovely selction of yoghurts & fruit. It would be an excellent choice if you were travelling with children. The staff are outstanding, speak perfect English and will do anything to help.It is situated opposite the cadet (Line 7) metro which is very convenient for easy sightseeing also near supermarkets & shops. Highly recommended.
The hotel is very pleasant, modern, quiet and clean, the rooms are very small though. I travelled on my own so this was not a problem for me, but I do wonder how two people with luggage would manage.
Would stay here again. Very convenient and quiet, on a little pedestrian street, near to the metro and several small restaurants.
A nice hotel on a semi-pedestrian street, very near to a major metro which connects easily to all of Paris, we found the hotel to be a pleasant place to stay and would return. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but a host of eateries within easy walking, and the hotel room was smallish, adequate and quiet. The staff was helpful, friendly and courteous.
Hotel is excellently located beside Cadet Metro station and close to Gare de Nord train station for links to Charles de Gaulle Airport. Staff were at all times pleasant, helpful and spoke excellent Englsh
Excellent value hotel.
1/4 mile from Gare du Nor, 400 feet from the Metro, on a side street that is a market in the morning, quiet at night. A very nice hotel, helpful staff, will return.
