Hostal Oporto is situated right in the heart of Madrid, only 200m from the Puerta del Sol. Our historic building from the 19th century is located in the Cortes district (just behind of the Parliament) near many of the main tourist and shopping zones.
The famous Avenue of the Art with the Museums Thyssen, Prado an Reina Sofía begins just a 2 minutes walk away.

Getting there:
A taxi from Barajas Internacional Airport usually takes about 20 minutes to arrive and can cost between 25€ – 30 €.
From the airport, if you do not have a lot of luggage the subway is easy and inexpensive use and will take you less that 30 minutes to arrive at the Hostal. Follow the signs to the metro in the airport, purchase a one use ticket: 1 Eur or a 10 use ticket: 6,15 Eur , from the machines or the ticket window.
Take line #8 to the station "Mar de Cristal" and transfer to line #4 in the direction of "Argüelles", transfer again in "Goya" to line #2 and get off at the "Sevilla" stop and the hostal is located just 50m from any of the 3 exits.

Car parking:
The Hostal has 2 parking spaces nearby. One is in the Calle de Alcalá on the side of the subway stop an the other is on Carrera de San Jerónimo. Both are located just 50m from the Hostal.
