Getting there:By London Underground Due to the fact that the Orchard is so centrally situated and within 3 (three) underground stations probably the easiest and cheapest way is to use the London Underground. The cost of this depending from where you are travelling will be approximately 3 pounds per person. If you are arriving at Heathrow you have to get the Picadilly Line (Blue) and change at Gloucester to get the Circle Line (Yellow) via Paddington. (or the District Line (Green) from Earls Court, or the Hammersmith (pink) from Hammersmith By Car If you coming from the west the best way is to get on the M25 and then the M40 which starts just north of Paddington going to Oxford. If you are coming from the North the best way is to get on the M1 to London and at the Junction with the North Circular Road (A406) get on the Edgware Road (A5) south. Of course the signs to look for are Paddington or Hyde Park Corner.

Das Hotel liegt seht nahe an der U-Bahn Station, ist jedoch fern ab von allem Tumult und Lärm von Nachtlokalen. Das freundliche Personal gibt gerne Auskunft und Tipps. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht sehr gross, reichen jedoch völlig aus für eine Städtereise wo man bloss zum Schlafen im Zimmer ist. Gemütliche Betten und ein sauberes Badezimmer, was braucht man mehr?! Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist klein gehalten, reicht aber auch aus um sich für einen erlebnisreichen Tag zu stärken. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

excellent pricing for london, great location (only a short walk from paddington or catch a bus). rooms was great...nice size though the bathroom was small but had the necessities in there. staff were helpful with tours and things to do as well. breakfast was basic but was fine.

The hotel was quiet and clean. The breakfast was all right but very tiny. as we Finns are used to more variable breakfast, especially vegetables would be good to have.
On the plus side, staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful! Also on the plus side is the location of the hotel. Plus you can choose a hot breakfast included in the price of your stay. Unfortunately, on the down side, for the price you pay this is a very basic hotel, with outdated furnishings and basic ammenities. Also, there is no lift yet winding steps, so if you have a large suitcase or are an older person, be sure to ask for a room lower down in the hotel. AS - Bristol.

This is not at all a place to stay if you are on business. No lifts and steep steps. Location is the best part of the hotel. On facilities,this hotel has nothing to offer. Just checkin and check out.
Great location, very easy to find. Rooms were a good size and clean, however didn't always have hot water. The stairs to our third floor room were quite steep and narrow, a bit tricky with a big suitcase. But I would stay here again. Overall a good hotel.
I thought the location and cleanliness of the hotel were very good but the breakfast offered was not really what up to the standard of the rest of the hotel
