Orchard Parade Hotel By Far East Hospitality Singapore

The Orchard Parade is very conveniently situated for Orchard Road and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. It is looking a bit tired, however.

We stayed for 3 nights (Room no. 304) and were pleased that we were allowed to check in early (1st Feb 2011) and check out late (4 Feb 2011), 8.30am and 2.00pm, respectively. Another brilliant gesture by the Hotel was upgrading of our deluxe room to family room without any extra charge; big enough to accomodate 2 adults & 2 kids. Location of hotel suits our holiday plans. Overall, the hotel standard is good and we would definitely recommend it to friends and family members.

This is a nice hotel , right in the heart of Orchard Road.Convenient for just about everything. The in-house TV service could do with a bit of overhaul. In spite of new flat screen tv, reception on many channels not so good and very limited sports channel. Hotel information is also out of date. For the money, recommended.

This is a tired hotel but convenient. Reception understaffed (same experience when I was last there) and facilities in the hotel not a patch on those available within a five minute walk. But convenient and if you get a good price, a generously sized room to relax in.

We have very nice stay , friendly staffs, very good location , handy for shopping. Also we enjoyed the swimming pools, will come back again.

Stayed for 4 nights didnt eat in the hotel. Location was good. Had a twin bed room which I found a bit small and the bathroom needs updating. Old TV in the room but that didnt matter. Wouldnt stay there again I think you could stay somewhere nicer for the money they charge.

Good location at the top of Orchard Road. Rooms are a little dated.

Overall a good hotel except that the breakfast spread is rather dissappointing.

Good location with sizeable rooms and quality feel. Wifi charges are ridiculous with an option of $3.20 for 15 minutes or $29.95 for 24 hours. An hourly option would make more sense.

Room was not very clean - hair in shower and water would not drain properly in shower or sink. Got woken by house keeping in the morning to ask if I was checking out - at 7.20am. Got twin beds after booking a king room. Hotel was ok but would probably not stay here again. Location was the main advantage.

The cleaniness of the hotel in general is excellent. The service is normal as the staff do not appear as friendly as expected. What I would like to put into records is the facilities. For a 4 star hotel in Singapore, the facilities are lacking. For example, the swimming pool does not come with air stream or jacuzzi. The internet stations at the lobby are located in a small, uncomfortable space.

When we first arrived a muck up on our room ended up with a upgrade to luxury accomodation on the return leg of our trip. The staff were more tthan accomodating and the hotel was very clean and stylish. A perfect choice for the Orchard road location. Tiling in the bathrooms however was of a poor standard and could do with a professional make over.

Property extremely well located to Orchard Road shops & entertainment. Porperty a little aged, but reasonable value for money in this location.

overall a very nicely set out hotel with great use of space, we stayed in the delux room which had everything you needed in it (although a few more tea bags wouldnt be a bad thing). The location on orchard rd was great and it was very convenient to both shopping and MRT. the only bad point although its not that bad is that the bathroom probably is due for an upgrade and colour change to go with the rest of the room.

The hotel is just alright. Nothing special. The night staff in the counter is far from being helpful though. The location is not too far or right in the middle of the city, but with the price I guess it's alright too. They should make some renovations though, the place is too old. There was always one of the lifts that was not working. Anyway, it's all good.

Nice room, very comfortable bed, friendly check-in - but terribly slow check-out. They need an express check-out option as there was a long queue of people trying to get to the airport at 7.30am the morning of my stay. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again as the location and price point was excellent.
