Oriente Hostal Madrid

As I am using this hotel for several times, this time I was in a bigger room. thus my neighbors a young couple made love i heard it ALL as if i was sleeping in their bad. I can’t tell if the wales were to thin or the couple was too noisy thus, it left a smile on my face knowing they are.....

Everything was great except for the noise.. but that was just minor

This is hotel is directly across from the Opera metro stop line and easily accessible to the airport. The hotel is directly link to the major sites, shopping and dining. Overall we loved our stay the hostel staff were very nice and the held our luggage for us until we were ready to leave that's a plus.

I was my first time at a hostel and I have to say it was great! It's seriously close to everything you want to see! It's right in the center of the city! Only problem is that the check in time is at noon and my flight got in around 9 so I was there at 10 and had to leave my bags and go out to lunch and walk around so I was scared of leaving them there (I dont know why, just was) but it's cool. the lights and power in the room are operated by your key card to the room so you can't charge anything while you are out. Only problem: thin walls, you can hear muffled conversations and intimate moments haha

Hostal is minutes away from major attractions and it's located right across the Metro station. The room is very clean and staff is friendly. My single room is a bit small but for the price I can't complain much.

Very convenient to everything....Metro, buses, shopping, attractions, restaurants, and all. Didn't have to worry about my kid joining the club crawl 'til 5am.

Centrally located within easy walking distance from all interesting sights, rooms extremely clean and serviced daily, excellent decor, has elevator, pleasant, helpful staff. Strongly recommended and would happily stay there every time.

The Oriente Hostal was very good value for money.I paid 164 euros for 4 nights in a single room(no meals available,but loads of eating options nearby).Its position in relation to the most popular sights of the city was excellent,many of them being within easy walking distance or accessible by the nearby metro(1 euro per single journey) My room was really small but had perfectly good en-suite facilities and was spotlessly clean.I can recommend this hostal

Very clean, comfortable and conveniently located to Opera metro stop. Within a short walk of Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and the Gran Via.

This was a nice surprise.Hotel was very clean and location was excellent. The rooms were small but modern with a good little shower room. No view as such and may be a little stiffling in summer but had air con so should be fine. It was quiet and the maids and reception were friendly and helpful. A word of advice though- take a phrase book if you don't speak spanish as madrid does not cater well for english speakin tourists. Hardly anyone speaks english and the menu's and tourist attractions do not have english translations!

It was a good choice to stay there.

I strongly advise this hotel for people looking for a budgetary and central hotel. It worths the money you pay.

A wonderful suprise in the heart of Madrid. Such a lovely room at a low price in an excellent location with very friendly staff. Would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Great place to stay. The staff doesn't speak any languages other than Spanish, but they are very helpful never the less.

I can much recomend this hostal, it is very clean, nice, cheap and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Furthermore it is very centrally located without being noisy. I had 10 perfect days there!

The location is very good and very easy to find, as it is very near the Opera Metro Station. Also good for tourists who wish to see the Royal Palace, Plaza de Mayor, etc as it is closely situated in these areas. However, wish the staff knew how to speak in English (esp the receptionist) even a little..
