Osaka Namba Washington Plaza

This hotel is in a handy location with the Nipponbashi subway and Kintesu line just a couple of minutes walk away. The hotel is just near the end of Dotombori Street with many food options including a number of supermarkets nearby. Service was great - there were no people annoyingly opening and closing doors for us - but provided assistance when requested. This is great vlaue for the location and price.

good location, small room

Room was small and clean. Typical of Japanese hotels. Just a place to sleep. Location-wise it's quite close to the major shopping areas and food is easy to come by. However, I do not recommend this hotel to travellers who are in Osaka for the 1st time or do not speak Japanese at all. It can be quite a challenge finding the hotel if you do not speak Japanese at all.

Great location and decent sized room for Japanese standards. Would definitely stay there again. The location at the entrance to Dotonbori is fantastic!

The carpet was very dirty in our room. TV needs upgrading and access to a english channel would be great. No spare space in fridge for our use..this is essential when on holiday. Thank you...we did enjoy our stay.

Good location. Very near subway station and popular shopping areas in Osaka, highly recommended.

Short walk from Station, near entrance to Doton-bori. Unfortunately, walked past hotel twice. The English sign is extremely small, placed low on building but is the only negative to the hotel. Within walking distance of night lights, eating places, etc. Staff had some English and were most obliging with any requests. Cleanliness, service and location was excellent. Very convenient to one of the most busiest shopping districts of Osaka. Access from airport through Namba OCAT was a breeze as it was only 3 mins taxi ride. Room was small but clean and service was great. The front desk staff were extremely helpful. Will stay again soon.

Nothing to really rave about but did the job to get a bit of shut eye after a very long flight before hitting the road.

Hotel is very poorly signed for non-Japanese so took new a while to find walking past 3 times. Otherwise a great place to stay.

A bit of a walk (up to 10 min.) from central Namba, the hotel had been a bargain considering the price and the location, with friendly staffers. It would be a convenient place for non- Japanese visitors who would like to do some shopping at Nipponbashi, the Osaka-version of Akihabara. There are no extra amenities other than shampoo, hair conditioner and body soap in your room, and you would be asked if you need disposble toothbrush and razor upon arrival. Plus, it's a bit of a maze once you get out of the elevator, since two buildings are connected to look like one building.

Clean, good location, smiling staff and a Hagen Dass vending machine in the lobby. Rooms are on the small side and a bit stuffy if you don't run the AC but overall a very pleasant place to stay.

Excellent hotel, price and good services.
