"Found front desk staff slightly abrupt at first but warmed after first day. Hotel insists on holding passports for your safety although we had a safe in our room, spoke to one guest who refused to leave it and hotel agreed, so maybe worth standing your ground. No problem getting them back on departure. Other than that the hotel was a delight, the staff were very helpful and friendly - always willing for a joke and a lovely smile. Had some renos happening on lower floors so a bit noisy at times but no louder than the traffic. Great location, pleanty of shopping, food and transport. Tour bookings were cheaper at hotel than outside (which we found out). Food fairly standard for 3 star but plenty of it. Would return next time in HCMC. " - Judith McLean-Jones

The room we were given had no windows ! When we asked if we could move to another, we were told that the Hotel was fully booked.
