A brand new hotel, located near the city centre of Rome. Osimar hotel is an ideal choice for business and leisure travellers. The hotel is close to the underground (metro) and Tangenziale Road that connects the centre of Rome with all the most important highways. The hotel is also near Tiburtina Train Station and the guest could choose either Termini or Tiburtina Train Station.

Getting there:The hotel is at 10 minutes walking from Bologna Metro Station (line B) at just few stops from termini or Tiburtina Train Station. From Bologna Metro Station walk along VIALE XXII Aprile. One in Via Stevenson turn right. The hotel is just few steps ahead. There are also many buses that could take our guests nearby the hotel

The hotel was clean, good size, free good internet if using cable connection (very week wireless). Staff tried to help and provided a map showing the Metro stations & attractions but the hotel is 1.5km walk to Bologna Metro. We later found the stops for buses 542 and 61 (also go to Bologna Metro station) about 0.5km from hotel. L'Event shows bus routes. The same ticket can be used on bus and Metro 1 euro for 75 minutes or 4 euros a day TV was hard to operate, we could not find an English speaking channel for news Breakfast was Ok but no fresh fruit, cornflakes may be better kept fresh in a sealed container. We were asked to pay 12 euros for local tax at check out but believed that all tax had been paid when booked through hotelclub.com
The hotel was clean and surprisingly big for Rome. The only downside was the 15 min trek to Bologna station and then 3 stops to Termini. After a long day, that last walk is one I could have done without. But the hotel was nice enough.
This hotel is a wonderful place to stay on a budget, the room feels 4-5 star the staff are friendly, helpful and polite the only downfall is the location not very close to restarants and doesn't provide dinner or lunch services and a little difficult to find. The haordryer was a bit of a pain if you have long hair.
It was very normal hotel with normal price at Chistmas time! :o)
The hotel was good, very clean and friendly, but in a side street with a poor outlook, and poorly lit . 5 minutes from Metro, 1 minute from Bus Stop, only 10 minutes from the centre of Rome. Breakfast provided was cereal, fruit juiceand fruit, bread rolls with meats and cheeses, and various flavoured yoghourts. Beautiful chocolate croissants and tea and coffee. Friendly staff and good value for money. Would visit again and recommend to others
an average hotel with no elevator
The hotel is new and clean. Services and breakfast is good but the location quite far. When i was there on 15 August 2006, there was something building around that area, I couldn't find the hotel even i ask the police !! they said this hotel and the road is not on the list!! I think the new subway line will be soon finished on that area then you dont have to walk so much ( but maybe you have to pay more :)
