The Oxford Hotel is a well appointed budget hotel located in Earl's Court, which is one the liveliest areas of London. Restaurants and banks are close by. Hyde Park and many of the museums are within walking distance, and there is good public transport to and from airports and mainline stations as well as the tourist and shopping attractions of London. The hotel comprises of a main building and annex and has 65 rooms, mostly with full private bathrooms. All rooms have a tv, radio, telephone with direct dial, safe and coffee/tea making facilities. The hotel is closed until 31st October 2008 due to refurbishment. Apologies for the inconveniences

Location excellent just near the Earl's court tube station. A hint - insert your card for the door chip side up, this small hint would have save me a lot of trauma, I arrived jetlagged and tired and couldn't get the door open...staff at front desk were amused. Also was not put in the main hotel...put 3 doors down...advantage was that it was quiet. Thanks to a member of cleaning staff who rescued me and helped me out.
Great location, very near to Earls court Station. Staff was friendly. Cleaner and newer bedsheets would have been better

Rooms were very small. Breakfast was barely average and you had to walk down the road to its sister hotel to reception and breakfast room. However the staff were helpful and friendly and it was close to the train station and London city.
Hotel room was very small, but had ensuite, hairdryer and a fan that came in handy in the hot weather. Breakfast room was very hot and overcrowded - neede more organisation by staff. I didn't like the idea of paying 5 pounds to the hotel to keep onto my suitcases for a few hrs. Excellent location though. I would stay there again.
Very pleasant 3-night stay in a triple room which was a little small for 3 people but acceptable nevertheless. Staff friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast (included in price) simple but good. Room, linen, etc. clean. Very good location 2 minutes from Earls Court underground. Would stay there again. Very happy overall re value for money.
Room was the tiniest ever, maybe ok for one night, but for our remaining 5 nights we decided to book elsewhere.
Rooms were very small and not airconditioned - quite uncomfortable in the middle of summer! In need of decorating. No lifts/elevators and the staff on duty did not offer to help with my bags despite my room being on the top floor! However, very close to Earls Court station which made getting around London very easy.
