Set above the City in Dunedins town belt. Some hotels develop a great reputation through their superb location. Others achieve it through layout and decor. Others manage it by helpful, friendly staff and excellent cuisine. Pacific Park Dunedin has managed to build a fine reputation based on all of these things, but above all else, Pacific Park is the perfect place for people. Business people find the location handy, the parking convenient, the restaurant and bar facilities great for entertaining associates Families enjoy the freedom of the gardens, the seclusion away from busy roads and the value for money. Visitors generally find Pacific Park a great base from which to explore the rich heritage of Otago... and beyond.

Loved this hotel, friendly, modern rooms and very quiet. Great value with the breakfast thrown in - recommend to all.
This hotel is a 10 minute walk from Mercy Hospital which is the reason I chose to stay there
It was comfortable, and staff were friendly. It was in the process of being upgraded.
Excellent place to stay but the ranch slider in the unit we stayed in needs some serious maintenance done - was extremely difficult to open and close.
The Pacific Park Hotel used to be the place to stay when visiting Dunedin. It has lost it's appeal. The grounds have not been looked after and the restuarant was closed for January, the time of year when I would have thought was the busiest. We were not advised about the closure before arriving. However the room was very clean and comfortable.
Nice location. Handy to town. Average, but adequate accommodation.
The room is very tired looking needs a full makeover. The plumbing in the bathroom is something else, when the shower is running it is can be heard in the bedroom, its very noisey. The door to the bathroom did not fit, therefore would not close.
Staff very pleasant & helpful. Nice location, though a little out of the way. Rooms huge, though a little tired, but hey I didn't spend a lot on either.
The Hotel has a problem, it is old and out of date, the lighting is poor in the rooms and the glazing is bad, the bathroom is a bit of a joke, overall it was ok but cost too much for it's condition.
This was a fairly dated hotel which could do with upgrading. There was a substantial leak from the shower which ran into the kitchenette and to the unit below.
for the price room decor was poor partically the bathroom
Quiet, away from city traffic and yet so handy. Lovely restaurant looking over harbour and great service at breadfast.
no tea towel/dishcloth provided for us to wash cups etcRoom had a musty odour.
We had expected a better facility for our stay in Dunedin. In our opinion this hotel is overdue for renovation. I would be devasted if I had been an overseas tourist and had been presented with the room we had with zero outlook and a tired bathroom.
OK, worth the discounted price ($99/nt) but not more.
Clean and comfortable accomodation in a nice location near to the city precinct
A little hard to find at first. Away from the main streets which is an advantage if you want to keep away from that area without being too far out of town. Rooms quite old & getting dated but clean & tidy. Found it cheaper than most available hotels and was reasonable value.
We found this hotel to be more than we expected. We would recommend this Hotel & stay there again.
Excellent restaurant
Stayed in studio room. Getting to stage of needing upgrading. It was a plus to have a bath in unit though. Sound proofing between units is not very good.
