This hotel was recommended on Hotel Club, so I went with it without really doing much research. I was very pleasantly surprised, great facilities, very nice restaurants (particularly breakfast), right on the beach at Legian, and very friendly and helpful staff. Pricing also very good value. I would highly recommend.

The hotel is good located, service and breakfast are very good, but the beach in front of the hotel (Legian) was not clean at all. The beach between Legian and Kutta is a mess, m3 of trash lays on the beach and plastic in everywhere!!!!!!

It was nice stay. The standard room is a bit too small. We upgrade to a Garden club room, which was a bit nicer. The service was good. Love the garden club benefits. Free internet, free afternoon tea, free ice-cream hours and free snack and drinks from 10am-11pm and free cocktail hours. Definitely recommend upgrading to garden club. However, the room are not too big and the wall are quite thin. Not much is happenning at the hotel at night. The main pool and the lagoon are nice, but the music can be a bit overbearing. They should play some relaxing music. The SPA is abit pricy but it has a very nice ambience. Again watch out for the surcharge. Overall, it was good value. I would recommend it to those who, like to party a little and don't mind a bit of noise during the day.

Great resort in Legian. Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. I loved the buffet breakfast; it had a wide of varieties. Has most of the international TV channels in the room. Food at the restaurants and café were great and service was fantastic. Location is ideal, about 15 minutes to Kuta and Seminyak. Free wifi in the lobby café and the food was great and huge portion. I highly recommend this hotel.

Some days we had to remind s housekeeping to clean our room. Laundry was not collected on time and consequently returned next day, we had thought we were getting same day service. Breakfast was wonderful, huge selection and very efficient service. Gardens beautiful and all staff very welcoming. Sercurity at the enterance always polite and efficient. Pool was so disappointing. Not refreshing as water was too hot!

The Padma Resort was absolutely beautiful! The hotel was very well maintained and the staff went above and beyond their duties. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone from a couple to a family with children. It was a little more expensive than other hotels in the area, but well worth the extra money. Will definately stay at the Padma Resort again!

Sumptuous breakfast included. Excellent facilities including free (cable) internet in room. Smooth check-in and check-out. We had a room on level 4 overlooking the vacant lot (heavily vegetated) next door so had no noise from the pool. Only quibble was the rather heavy doona on the bed which caused discomfort on the first night. Problem solved by increasing room airconditioner to 23 overnight and shaking doona filling to the bottom so the cover simulated a sheet.

This is a beautiful hotel I have stayed here on five occassions and found the facilities, Staff Accomodation and Food of an outstanding standard. This hotel is hard to beat in every respect including its location.

The promotional photos of this resort do not do it justice. It is much much better than the pics indicate. The service was faultless, very very clean, food lovely and the staff polite. The negative side was some building work being done right next to our room which started very early in the morning and continued to very late at night. We would have liked to see some traditional Balinese dancing included in the nightly entertainment. Will definitely return to this place

This was our second stay at the Padma, we stayed there three years ago and were impressed by the standard of the Padma. We have stayed at four other hotels in Tuban and none of them compare to the Padma. Fantastic breakfast , huge pool, beautiful grounds and gardens. We have a 2 year old some and he throughly enjoyed going to the kids club, the child care ladies were fantastic. Great hotel for couples wanting some quiet time, families and especially with young babies ,children or pregnant women worrying about staying in bali. For the elderley this hotel would be very relaxing. We would highly recommend you stay here and once the renovations are complete I'm sure it will be even better.

Most amazing hot buffet breakfast, fantastic pool, handy location, friendly and super helpful staff, would highly recommend for couples or families. Eating at the resort is expensive but there are so many great dining choices right near the resort. Sunset "happy hour" cocktails were a highlight. Can't wait to return!

The Bali Padma, is in a great location, and we enjoyed our stay there. I was unaware the hotel was still going through extensive renovation & our room was not updated.

My partner and I stayed at the Padma Hotel for 12 nights in early January 2009 and a fantastic time. We booked a Deluxe Chalet, which I think is definitely worth the extra dollars - it takes you out of the main hotel and gives you more space, privacy and a bigger balcony! Breakfast was great - excellent variety of foods on offer. The pool is pretty good - could probably do with a little bit of upgrading as it's starting to show its age. Still, we never had to fight for a poolside chair, and it wasn't too crowded. Staff were so lovely, always ready to help if needed and really friendly. Overall, if I was to stay in Legian again, the Padma would be my number one choice.

Nice hotel but the price was a little expensive for what you got. We stayed in other hotel done the road on the same beach front for much more reasonable rates and got better service. It would be good for families though.

Could not fault this hotel it had everything. I was especially pleased with the newly fitted gym and the beauty salon. The balinese know how to look after you.
