"Our family stayed here in March 08. We found Joan (Manager) excellent, very informative and helpful. It was peaceful and we had a very relaxing time. There wasn't much entertainment in the evening in the bar. The food was lovely and the kids had a ball I felt very secure in the hotel and enjoyed its facilities. "We traveled with our two girls (4,8). After booking, I read some pretty awful reviews that made me nervous. But I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a lovely spot next to the ocean. We had booked a room we a seaside view. But the room we first got overlooked a parking lot and a construction site. This was explained to me to be a sea "side-view", an interesting interpretation, After complaining we got a great suite overlooking the courtyard and the spectacular beach. Breakfast was one of the best buffets I've seen. (But no english marmalade, and only hard boiled eggs) We enjoyed the spa, with hot bath, sauna, massage and gym. My only big complaint is about the Japanese restaurant, It was expensive and the food had very little resemblance to any japanese food I've ever tasted. The chef might have read about Japanese food or seen pictures. I doubt he ever tasted it! But apart from that, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!" - Bjorn Carlstrom
