excellent hotel, spotless, modern, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent good value breakfast. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children and had to change bed configurations at the last minute and the staff were wonderful/proffesional in sorting us out. Nice views to rolling green hills of the basque country but a bit hard to get to for those arriving on train without a car. If wanting a quiet hilltop location it is fine, if you want to stay near the beach then its a bit far. We had a car so we thought overall that it was an excellent hotel for the price.
Everything was fine, didn't use the facilities so can't rate them. The only complaint would be that the air conditioning didn't work very well even when turned to high.
Standard double room for single use
Double / Twin room. Extra bed available
The staff were very helpful and friendly (I lost my suitcame and they kept tracking it for me and rang me news to the congress I was at). The snag is the location - there is nothing else nearby and the hotel restaurant (which was OK but quite pricey)only starts serving at 8.30 pm so if you arrive early and are hungry you just have to wait! Room s ervice said they had run out of bread so couldn't even do a sandwitch. Breakfast was disappointing - the 'hot buffet' turned out to be ready-made plates with various types of bread, some prepared pieces of toast with ham, pieces of fruit etc but no cheese for example - it wasn't a proper buffet. My room was on the second floor overlooking the street so had to have curtains drawn all day! San Sebastian is lovely so next time I would prefer to stay in the city to enjoy the fabulous food and the charm of the city better - even if the hotel might be attractive.
Contrary to other reviewers, we found that being no more than a 15 minute walk from the town was not a problem, and gave us additional views of the town that we would otherwise not have had!
The hotel is modern, nice and quiet, rooms are fine but not well isolated. The situation is really outside the old center, 5 minutes by car, the advantage is, that you always have parking. The people at the front office are very nice and good.
Very nice hotel with excellent facilities and friendly staff. Disappointed that the 'free internet' access didn't work on many web sites - was only able to access Google and the hotel's own website! Also, the air-con was not working properly so the bedroom was pretty hot at night. A little out of town, All this aside, it was nice and quiet and I would stay here again.
Fantastic hotel, gorgeous room, comfy beds, staff friendly and helpful, great location with beautiful park nearby.
Overall a good modern hotel, a little far from the city centre but suited me as I had rented a car and there’s free parking at the hotel. I’ve stayed in more central hotels in San Sebastian and parking can be difficult. Plan to stay there again
The hotel was very clean and the service was good. The rooms were big and nice. The hotel is close to the city center ~ about 5 minutes away by car.
The hotel is really great, modern and clean. The location is perfect if you have a car (5-10 minutes ride), but far from the town if you don't have one. The service was really good. I certainly recommend this hotel if you have a car.
