"The hotel was within walking distance of everything within the wall and also within distance to shops outside. Hotel was great and would stay again without question. We had 2 rooms as we have children, the hotel is great for both families, couples and singles. Only thing to complain about is we could hear the people in the next room and the lifts were slow, (at least they had one big enough to have more than one person in!) We have experienced small lifts that are very slow in nearly every hotel we stayed at in Europe. Overall I would say it was the best value for money we stayed in, and we were away for 2 months." - Anonymous

"If you like to step back into a Grand Hotel like it was in the 1940s, this one is unbeatable. If you would expect modern facilities, look further. It has great charm if you do like that kind of thing, and as a hotel it is fine. " - Anonymous
