"Would be a bit tricky to find if you didn't know that you are looking for a set of buzzers on a wall - the hotel is on the 1st floor.
Excellently located a bit away from the main tourist drag so lots of great local bars and restaurants are very close by but still only 5 minutes walk to the Rialto bridge.
Rooms are a good size (especially for Venice where they tend to be quite small). Staff friendly and helpful.
Ignore previous comments on other sites about smoke being a problem - all communal areas of the hotel are non-smoking in line with Italian law and you can request a non-smoking room.
Breakfast is somewhat pre-packaged but perfectly adequate.

From Marco Polo airport:
by public bus or by taxi cab to Piazzale Roma (car terminal). From Piazzale Roma and from the Railway Station (Santa Lucia) by waterbus n° 1 (vaporetto) and getting off at Ca' D'Oro boat station. From Ca' D'Oro turn right into Strada Nova. Walk along Strada Nova for about 3 minutes to Campo Santi Apostoli and cross the bridge on your right. "Palazzo Rosa " is located on the left, at the very end of the covered walkway ("Sotoportego del Magazen"), next to restaurant Al Vagon. |
