Palm Cove Beachfront Accommodation, centrally located on the esplanade overlooking the Coral Sea. Be one of the first to stay in this beautifully renovated and refurbished boutique hotel, situated amongst the many fine dining restaurants, cafes and boutique shops that Palm Cove has to offer. The Sarayi Hotel Palm Cove offers accommodation in spacious garden studios, hotel rooms and 1 bedroom self contained apartments with either mountain or ocean views. Our room rates start from $129 per night twin share. We are directly opposite a patrolled beach and easily accessible to the many amazing day tour options the Cairns region is famous for, from the Great Barrier Reef to Cape Tribulation & The Daintree Rainforest. We offer complimentary door to door airport transfers for all guests staying with us 3 nights or more. These transfers operate between 8.00am and 6.00pm 7 days a week. All guests of the Sarayi are given free access to wireless internet for the duration of their stay. This is not limited to usage in your room and can be accessed from the restaurant, lounge area’s and even beside our rooftop swimming pool and spa. The Rising Sun Bar and Bistro is located on the ground floor of the Sarayi Hotel and is open daily from 11am - 12pm.

Getting there:Palm Cove is only a 25 minute drive north from Cairns international and domestic airports, and 30 minutes from Cairns city centre. There are taxis and shuttle services available from the airports to take you to and from your accommodation. Hire cars can also be arranged at the airport. Buses going to town and other beaches leave from just outside the hotel.
Check-in Procedure:Reception hours are 8.00am – 8pm. Late arrivals need to contact reception prior to their arrival to arrange key collection.
Car parking:Free car parking is available at the rear of the hotel.
Child Policy:Children under 4 years are accommodated free of charge. Cots are available upon request ($5 per night). Room rates are for 1-2 persons, extra persons $20 per person (fee for rollaway or single bed).
Our stay here was very pleasant, the only gripe I have is that the freezer would not freeze the ice cubes. We hope to go back to this place every 12 months as it now has a special place in our hearts.

The staff were lovely and did everything possible to make my stay run smoothly. They organised transfers to and from the airport for me and the convenience of booking and correspondence with them over the internet was great.

Excellent place to stay, especially for a quiet few days in between visiting the major cities - as we did. Good location and accessibility for diving on the reef. The saray'i is very well run by a couple knowing the right mix between proffessionalism and banter. Definitely recommended!!!
The Sarayi felt like home. Ron, the driver picked us up at the airport for A$25, which was a great deal. His wife, Julia helped us book all the tours and the owner had great recommendations. You are right on the beach and the rooms are very spacious. Nothing fancy, but the price is unbeatable. Having the laundry room there is a plus. This is a small hotel and you feel like you are part of the family. Palm Cove is beautiful and much cozier than Cairns.
Front rooms with views over beach are exceptional value
We found the rooms at the Sarayi to be very spacious and well appointed. This was the first room that we had a radio in, something that we missed throughout our whole trip! The staff were friendly and helpful. One thing that we noticed throughout Australia (and Fiji) is that in most hotel/motel rooms do not have alarm clocks, or even in most cases just an ordinary clock. As we didn't bring a travel clock with us, this proved to be a bit of a challenge, especially in the morning when we were deciding to get up or not!
Great location, just across the road from the beach in the centre of Palm Cove. Rooms are a good size, with bath, shower, and basic self catering facilities. Reception is only open 9am - 5pm which is a problem if you are out all day. Hotel is generally a bit tired looking and could do with a spruce up.
