The Hôtel Palm Opéra reopens after a year-and-a-half of renovation work! With a prime location next to the Garnier Opera and close to the major Paris department stores, the Gare du Nord and Gard de l'Est rail stations, you will find this modern and bright hotel delightful. The hotel is a boutique hotel. The lobby and rooms have modern decor. The bedroom was quite small and the bathroom was a decent size. The room was well lit, the bed was comfortable, the tv had a lot of channels including some English language channels and we had wireless access (you had to get a code from reception). Although the room size was lacking the hotel service was not. The reception staff were superb. We dealt mainly with Jean who went out of his way to answer any of our questions. The hotel offers a very nice breakfast. They also have a refrigerator in the lobby which is stocked with complimentary soft drinks and they offer fruit and munchies. I would stay there again.

A reasonable hotel handily situated. Five minutes from Gare du Nord. 15 minutes to all other attractions.
