Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort

Very nice peaceful resort ideal for quiet break in secluded ocean location with Tanah Lot not far away. It has a wonderful golf course to play if you are a golfer. Staff are excellent.

The hotel is very much self contained located in a vast area in Tanah Lot district with big pool, spa, 4 restaurants to choose from. The most impressive would be the golf course and gym was good too with several equipments. Staff were helpful, spoke very good english , and they even threw in wireless internet for free. The only issue we had would be the distance from to get from Pan Pac to almost anywhere else, it would take at least 45mins. If you wish water rafting, Ubud, Volcanoe, or Sanur etc..that will easily eat into 1 - 2hrs travelling time. The Spa looked really nice, but the price was not, although tempting, you can definately get a better deal elsewhere. If the intention is to get away to hibernate in a resort hotel for chilling, this one's for you. If you are into sightseeing, night out in Kuta, you may want to choose a more central hotel

Very peaceful and clean environment.

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of a very busy Bali, then this is the resort for you. 45 mins to an hour drive from the airport, the resort is located on top of a cliff overlooking Tanah Lot temple and situated in pristine gardens. Facilities are great with numerous pools and loungers to choose from and you feel you're in the real Bali. Downsides include pricey food and drink options (priced at 5 star for a 4 star hotel), over-priced and poorly serviced day spa and not enough dining options. This will improve with time now that the Pan Pacific has taken over. we had a great time and will certainly go back. However we will do our research and see what cafes or warungs were near by for cheaper and more diverse eating options.

The resort itself is beutiful, with rolling grounds right on the sea edge with stunning views and sunsets over the Tanar Lot Temple. The sprawling pools and areas around them permit sunbathing or sun avoidance by the many beds with parasols and of course the double bedded sun houses. Fantastic resort with great staff. BBQ night at the pool offered the best food and if you book you get even more excellent treatment from the staff and prime seating. If you are agolfer the course is superb too with the signature hole 7 !!!

As usual, Le Meridien Nirwana was first class in almost every way. However, a hotel of this standard should have complimentary Internet for all its guests. It is an absolute necessity these days and charging expensive rates for Internet lets the hotel down badly, in my opinion.

Good holiday place away from the rush and big crowd only 1 hr from Kuta

Overall hotel is very good value for money. Location is remote but very quiet and excellent for those who wants to get away from every day hassle of life. Spa is over-priced, you can get a shuttle to Kuta and get all those treatments for a fraction of price. Food was OK but not fantastic. Staff is very friendly and hotel rooms are clean and tidy.

Staff are very pleasant and friendly, rooms are comfortable, food is great and the spa is good value.

Good for families with young children. The toys at the children's club needs a bit of cleaning and updating. But children are generally not fussy so it's ok. Spa is expensive and the massage is only of average quality.

Wonderful location for a short break! As there are not many other hotels or facilities nearby, longer periods may get boring for those who aren't "lie by the pool" types, though there is a good gym, bikes to hire, spa and shuttle buses to Kuta and Ubud. The restaurants turn out good quality food but could do with differentiating themselves from one another more. The food tended to be same same throughout the hotel! The added extras for Honeymooners were lovely! I'll leave them to be a surprise for you!
