Pan Pacific Orchard

Was only a short overnight stay. Have stayed many times before. Has all the necessary features of a god hote. It is in desparate need of new pillows as theywere either far too soft or like lumpy sacks.

Pan Pacific Orchard is about 10mins walk to the Orchard MRT and Ion shopping mall. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Clean and well maintained overall.

Would stay here again!

I stayed at the Pan Pacific Orchard for 2 nights and 3 days and found it to be a very pleasant experience. The staff were very obliging and helpful. The convenience to Orchard road was great and you did not have to go any were else if you wanted to shop or have a bite to eat. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel facilities are nice and the hotel staff is very frinedly and accomodating to guest.

My grandson and I stayed for a week at the Pan Pacific Orchard in February 2009. I had booked a Pacific Club Executive room with twin beds on a high floor. When we checked in (very efficient, concierge style), there were only king beds available on the higher floors. We were upgraded to a Pacific Club Executive Suite on the 7th floor, which was acceptable to us and proved to be quite satisfactory since both of us had work to do during our time in Singapore and the sliding doors separating the living area from the bedroom afforded us more privacy. The bathroom was well appointed, but the rooms themselves could use some updating. It is an older hotel - formally, the Negara. The young woman who took care of the room was delightful. In general, the whole staff was attentive, courteous and efficient. The breakfast and the evening cocktail hour were fine; however, the buffet in the hotel dining room was so-so, not worth the cost, even with the 20% discount for guests of the hotel.

The Staff were friendly and accommodating, good location to Orchard Road. The room was fine but felt in need of some updating due to wear and tear. Am sure I would be happy to return to Pan Pacific Hotels on my next visit. Many thanks Regards

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was large (by Singapore standards), clean, quiet and in very good repair. The outdoor pool on the 4th floor is large and clean but the surrounds are a little boring - no big deal. The taxi from the airport accidentally took me to the wrong Pan Pacific hotel (the one near the Marina). Hotel staff their were very helpful and immediately arranged AND PAID for a taxi to the correct hotel.

A first class Hotel that we will return to on our next visit to beautiful Singapore. Staff ( with the exception of one surly breakfast host) were superb. Room was clean and very quiet. Great value for the rate we received through [website]

Unfortunatly there were renovations occuring while I was thier, but benerally the room was very clean but in poor working order. THe curtain wouldn't open-close properly and broke on the last day of a 3 day stay, the remote for the lights was old and frustrating, worked intermitantly, the gym equipment was out dated and 2 or three bikes were broken.

Negara on Claymore Hotel Singapore. The hotel was undergoing renovations and the pool was closed. The renovations were extremely noisy from 10am until 6pm. The noise meant relaxing in the hotel was impossible- not much point in getting a 5 star hotel if you have to avoid it all day and can't use the facilities. Disappointing.

overall good except room rate consider quite expensive.

just walk within minutes to orchard road. convenient stores just right beside hotel but hard to get a taxi, was shocked to be awakened by a false emergency alarm in the middle of the night, asked for a king size bed but ended up in a two single bedroom, no free daily newspaper supply to room

We had a fantastic stay on Negara. Very close to shopping on Orchard Road, only a 3 minute walk and you're away. Service was very good, apart from a small hiccup we had with a package that was delivered and subsequently lost briefly. Facilities are great, including the mineral water pool. Will stay again.
