"My wife and I recently spent four nights at Pan Pacific Singapore. I highly recommend this hotel. The lobby is one of the best I have seen and the rooms are fantastic. I arrived in Singapore for my 30th birthday and the night of my birthday I walked into my hotel room to find a 'happy birthday' cake, card and fresh fruit. It was a really nice surprise. The hotel also upgraded our room to a balcony room with a magnificent view. If you dine between 6.30 and 7.30 you are also elligible for a 25% discount off your bill, which encourages guests to dine at the hotel at least once during the stay. The food was excellent! The only thing that I wouldn't recommend is paying $37 S each for breakfast buffet. Instead, go to the Atrium deli on the same floor as the lobby, buy some croissants, muffins, scones, you name it, and bring them back to your hotel room! It will save you a lot of $$$! "Date of stay: December/08 (23-Dec-2008 - 26-Dec-2008) Room Type: Deluxe Room For the type of hotel and price I was expecting more. Rooms are nice but noise isolation is really bad from room to room. You can listen to your neighbor flushing the toilet as well as showering! Also, water pressure in the bath is really low. The daily room cleaning was inconsistent. Everyday some toilet items were forgotten to be replaced, including the complimentary water on the room. Concierge was effective but somehow rude (except Mr. Faisal Rahim that was extremely nice, friendly and helpful). It was not possible to find anywhere in the room a indications about the Internet connection rates. Seems it was missing (at least we didn't found it). In summary, it was not a good value for money. From Pan Pacific I was expecting more. I will choose another hotel when visiting Singapore again." - Nuno Oliveira
