Value for money and the location is great. If you are looking for travelling along the mtr in hong kong.
Executive Rooms are smaller than other hotels with lower price. But all others are fine.
Clean rooms and good hotel. Lobby very busy but without any confusion. The check in and out were quick. Recommended.
Good Location , - 10 Min form MTR stations . Some shopping facilities just in the same building . variety of choose of food , especially you can taste the loco food in the near-by area
I think this hotel would be best for business people or convention delegates. Its nearer to the AsiaWorld Expo than if you stay in Monkok area or Hong Kong Island. The rooms are small and not a lot of space to move around although you also get a working area (work desk) and a lounge seat to relax. Executive lounge is roomy although the food choices remains almost the same everyday. No one help me with my luggage when I checked in at the Lounge. About 15mins walk to subway station. Not much to do around the area for tourist but near Disneyland and Citygate outlet mall. About 20mins subway for both places. Staff very friendly and answers any question that you may have, even writing in Chinese the destination you want to go to so that you can show it to the taxi driver who may speak little English.
Very clean, the room is very big. reasonable price with high level of service. will come back again. near MTR station. 10min walking distance. near airport. perfect!!!
we stayed on the executive floor. The service was great. The location was 5 min. from the metro station on line 1 direct (20 min) to the city center. i would certainly go back.
Great pool, gym and sauna. Good variety of food/restaurant and grocery stores nearby. Hotel is on top of small shopping center, nothing spectacular, but does have a good games arcade for the kids/teenagers. Approximately a 30min train ride to Hong Kong's busy city area. The train station is only a 10 minute walk away. Rooms are a decent size for Hong Kong rooms, and were clean. Issues I had were: the room service ladies serviced the rooms very early and knocked on the door even when the do not disturb sign was on the door knob, and the front desk will not let you into the rooms before the 2pm check in time. Overall, worth the price and very happy with the experience.
I have chosen to stay at Panda Hotel Hong Kong hust because of its location. It is strategically located near Tsuen Wan MRT station which is just 10-min walk from the hotel. It is convenient to travel from Tsuen Wan station to HK Disneyland as it is just less than 10 stations. Panda Hotel is beautifully decorated for the Chinese New Year season. Hotel staff are well trained and all of them speak good English. The hotel attendants are polite and efficient as well. I booked two rooms for the family with a middle door in between them. When the middle door is open, the room is spacious and the bathrooms are well maintained with the necessary facilities. Overall, I have a pleasant experience staying at Panda Hotel in Hong Kong. Nice!
This hotel is nice, clean, very good leisure centre although the pool is closed for winter. The location is right in the middle of Tsuen Wan and within an easy walk to the MTR. I would be happy to stay there again and probably will.
the hotel about 10 min walk to the train station, use the bridge from the lobby that next to the Japanese restaurant,or 15 min walk to TSui Wan shopping .So it location ok,plus the hotel has shuttle bus to Kowloon and return ,but my family waited for the return bus never come about 30 min .The taxi fare in Hong Kong cheap and reliable and easy to get taxi even at 5 am in order to go to HKIA.My family have 2 bedrooms and a lounge room with a microwave , a fridge, dinning table and 3 LCD tivi but no free wifi, room clean good but the toilet when you flush it,you must pump like pumping a sun screen bottle.I wil go back this hotel if return to Hong Kong.
I booked the Executive floor and found the service reasonable. The check-in staff was very friendly and helpful. Just a couple of issues 1) the choice of breakfast is adequate but can be improved, ie should have a bit more variety of pastries and cearals, for example. 2) The hotel advertise free internet at the executive floor. To a certain it's true because you can get onto the Internet at the loung only. But if you want to use own laptop and connect to your own VPN to work on emails etc, the Hotel charges you the same rates as other rooms. So, a bit of false advertising there.
Very good al round hotel, stayed here several times and would do so again, advise that rooms are booked early as it's popular.
Roms a bit small but confortable. Location is convenient with good access to airport by rail or bus.
Very convenient location with lot of small restaurant with reasonable price. Near MTR station and shopping mall around. Will stay in this hotel again. Housekeeping staffs very helpful and friendly.
The room had an adjoining door to another room. We could hear our next door neighbors even when they spoke at a normal level. The bottom of the door did not seem to have a gap. The executive service was nice. Free use of their computers (I brought my own)
Front office staff need to brush up! We cudnt understand why we were not allowed to check in 2 rooms booked under 1 person's name. 2 different names/passports were needed for the 2 rooms, and we were asked to produce 4 passports for 2 person/room. What a hassle! My aunt who checked in 1st was not allowed to check in 2 rooms under her name, but was asked to pay deposit for both. Huh??! Then when we arrived to check in for the other room, they insisted my aunt needed to be present to confirm the room was to be given to us. When she did come down, they never even asked her for any docs/ID! In the end, the whole check in process took us 1/2hr or so. The check out was ridiculous too. At 8am, queueing for check out took us 1 whole wasted hour! Panda Hotel, you need to re-look into your system! Other than the above, we were happy with room, location and free shuttle to TST. Compliments to the tour desk staff who was extremely helpful and cheerful.
Regarding the helpfulness & cleanliness, we never experienced consistency for our 5 night duration @ Hotel Panda. Yet, certain staff members were more than great & others well (I really could rant here)..... But, at the same time you get what you pay for. The facilities are exceptional with the gym, outdoor swimming pool etc... free to use. However, don’t the internet and nor obvious extras eg mini bar etc... And the location, well, don’t expect to use English right outside the hotel. Tsuen Wan is clearly where a lot of locals live which makes it an interesting stay. There are loads of bus stops outside the hotel & 2 MTR stations within 300-400 meters.
room is big and comfortable better then the city hotels. Location is a good 10 to 15mins walk from Tsuen Wan MTR, can get lost if you do not know the way. Price is much cheaper but it seems to have become more expensive in 2010. Hotel lobby is very nice and welcoming and service is acceptable. No smiles but they get answer your questions.
This is a value for money hotel, which I will return for my next visit to Hong Kong.
