Getting there:PLEASE SEE INSTRUCTIONS FOR A LATE ARRIVAL IN THE CHECK IN PROCEDURE. From the AIRPORT get the bus that goes to the center of town 'direct via hotels' (not bus 99 which goes to the train station)Get off at stop 'Albert 1er. The hotel is opposite Park Hotel and next to Louis Vuitton. Coming out of the TRAIN station, cross over to the other side of the treet and walk to the left until you get to the Rue Paganini. Take this street and after a couple of minutes it changes name to Rue Alphonse Karr. At the end you will come to a small pedestrian square called Place Magenta. The Rue Paradis is right opposite and the hotelis at N°1.
Check-in Procedure:The reception is open from 8am to 8pm. If you arrive outside these times there is a special procedure to gain access to the hotel. The code to get into the hotel is : 01945A and the code to the safe on the wall to your left once inside the hotel to get your keys is: 001066A. Do not forget to take this with you even if you think you will arrive during reception hours as trains can be late!!
Car parking:There are plenty of car parks within 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
Child Policy:Children under 4 years old can stay free.
Hotel Paradis has an excellent location,central to shopping,old town,beach front,buses,etc.The hotel is small and the rooms basis but clean and cleaned every day.If you only intend to change and sleep in your room this is an ideal location,our room had a small balcony overlooking the street,fridge in room also,TV has only French speaking channels,Continental breakfast was delivered to our room every morning at 9am (exactly)BE PREPARED FOR THE LIFT it works well,but i"ve never seem nothing like it.
Pleasant Hotel in great location (steps from beach & just a few blocks from the old town). Parking is an issue, especially since Rue Paradise is a pedestrian only street, which makes it difficult to find when arriving. Parking is expensive in the lots nearby & nearly impossible on the streets.
Excellent location. Now the bad news. We were on the 3rd floor next to the lift which has a metal gate type door. This was continually being slammed shut by guests either arriving or leaving. Also, there were guests on the 4th floor, but the lift only went as far as the 3rd which meant that, not only was the lift gate banging, but also that people were tramping up and down the stairs outside the room at all hours. Furthermore, reception shuts at 8 during the week and if you had any problems that needed resolving, then they had to wait until the next day.
