This is a great family orientated hotel that provides great friendly service. I would highly recommend them for this alone. Their rooms are average but for an affordable fun filled family holiday this can be overlooked. The activities they provide for the children each day are fantastic and the food at the resturant is wonderful and also reasonable. The other services that are available for hire or to purchase make this hotel a must try for your next vacation. They are in the middle of an upgrade of their facitities so I can only imagine how good they will be when they have completed them.
Very good place for the kids with the pools and kids zone. Could imagine it being quite crowded in really busy times but we had no problems at Easter. Hotel rooms fine, fairly basic with minimal TV channels and only a small fridge but suits short stays. Would go again due to the kids club allowing parents some time to themselves!

Fantastic for kids 4 heated pools + spa and 4h kids club with lunch for free! Can do with fresh painting. Buffet dinner outstanding quality. Lots of space. Plenty car parking. We loved it !
My husband and 2 kids absolutely loved the stay, the kids had a awesome time in the pools, and the kids club. It was great for my husband and I being able to spend some time together and not worry about the kids, they were well loked after whilst in the kids club activities. The rooms were great, we had a junior bunkhouse room and it was great, the facilities were very family orientated and great, awesome place to stay we will certainly being going back again.
I was on the Gold Coast on business and I booked the Paradise Resort because I was looking for a resort I could happily bring the family back to for a holiday. I found the resort facilities fantastic and would not hesitate to book a family holiday at this venue. The only criticism I have is that the room I stayed in could certainly benefit from a bathroom makeover and perhaps some further modern ammenities
A great place for families with kids - awesome pools, playgrounds and activities. The kids club seemed popular, although we didn't use it as were too busy with other activities. Unfortunately the room we stayed in badly needed refurbishing, was old, dated and rather grubby in areas like the bathroom. The rooms were noisy and we could hear what everybody was doing in the room next to ours or people walking and talking along the corridor. The food in the cafe was OK, apart from the breakfast we had one morning which was cold and not very nice. We didn't try Sinbads (the buffet restaurant) as it seemed overpriced for what it was. Other than that, the service was very good with lovely friendly employees.Q
A fantasic hotel for families with kids. The kids loved the pool and the kids club (which was included in the price of the hotel) and my husband and I really enjoyed the break. Happy days :)
Loved our stay, friendly staff great facilities for kids hope to make it our annual trip for our anniversary thanks heaps will recommend others.
The room was a bit dirty and the bed was too soft.
Enjoyable stay. Great facilities. Ideal for families, lots of activities to keep the children entertained.
Air Con needs to be replaced, It is too noisy.
resorts best feature is its friendly towards children, but facilities are basic and a little tired. After all that we did enjoy our stay
The facilities were good eg - pool (prefer it warmer), kids club, but the room was terrible. It was dark, stuffy & hot. The clothes line in the shower was broken. I think the sinbad buffet was a liitle expensive for what they offered & I ordered an additional dish & it was bearly warm.
We were pleasantly surprised by this resort. It caters excellently for families and young kids.
It's a great place for those who travel with kids. It's extremely children friendly place. But keep in mind- if you don't have kids or traveling without them, i would not recommend this resort. It's ALL about jids there, hence, it's quite noisy during the day. Rooms are big, clean, the only problem is that there is no kitchen, so that's like your typical hotel. You could hire microvave for $30 /day, or use the one at the cafe downstairs for free. Restarnt there is not great...thats all i can say. But there are plenty of places of where to eat around, and even at teh resort food is ok, just nit great. I wouldn't consider ALL YOU CAN EAT dinner at the resort, but just a quick bite for lunch is all right. Location is good, right near bus stop, from where you could get a bus to Theme Parks, centre of the City, casino, airport, and other places. Or it's about 10 minutes walk to the centre (2 bus stops to Cavil Ave). It's about 5 minutes walk from the beach.
This place was really good for us to stay at with our 2 year old child. I had a conference at Australian Institute of Ultrasound at Miami Keys so still close to that. Many doctors would like to bring their families as it is a 5 day course so I would recommend you market yourselves throught AIU. The resort itself is a bit tired and could do with a revamp but facilities are great. The Zone 4 kids is fantastic and our son really enjoyed himself.
It was booked via timeshare. Because we stayed for a week, would have been great to have a full sized fridge as the bar fridge didn't hold much for a family and things just kept falling out. Also a clothes horse would have been great to dry towels and clothes on. However we had a fantastic view and the room itself was very very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay there again.
Great place to stay if you have kids, lots of fun activities to keep them busy. There are also actvities for the adults aswell which makes the stay enjoyable, but I would not recomend the food from GD Express Cafe.
Although the hotel is old and needs renovation, it is good specially for families, beacuse they have many kids activites. Also it was clean, Quiet and organized. The staff were very nice and the room service was daily. free car parking is offered. Bus station is in front of the hotel. However, the TV was old, the A/C was not good. In General, I recommend this hotel for families.
The room was booked for 2 singles and a double on arrival it had a cot in the room. The shower leaked from the base of the shower. The reception staff were excellent. As a country person I normally only travel and book for one night for sporting events Surf lifesaving - it is extremely difficult to book for one night which does not give you a good picute of the services available.
