Paral.lel: welcome home! You haven´t been to barcelona if you haven´t stayed in our hotel. because we´ll make you feel like at home, it´s as easy as this... Located on a small lane off the paral.lel avenue, that unites plaça espanya, the second most important square in barcelona, with the harbour, our hotel is at about 10 minute walk from the ramblas. The rooms are very bright, spottlessly clean, recently redecorated with a simple, but modern touch. Our staff is pleased to provide you all the information one needs to enjoy its staying in barcelona.

Getting there:1. from EL PRAT international airport - take the aerobus (til PLAÇA ESPAÑA), the train (til SANTS ESTACIO, the main railway station), or taxi. once arrived at PL. ESPAÑA or SANTS take the subway (LINE 3 - same line for both arrival points, the only difference is the number of metro stops) til PARAL.LEL. 2. from the GIRONA international airport take the bus til BARCELONA (90 minute trip approx.). it willl drop you off in PLAZA TETUAN. take the subway (LINE 2) til PARAL.LEL. 3. from PLAÇA CATALUNYA take the subway (LINE 3) til PARAL.LEL 4. once in PARAL.LEL metro stop (exit SANT PAU - FONTODRONA). walk 50 meters and you´re ´home´.

Stayed at the Parallel Hotel from 19th-21st September 2010. Good Hotel not that far from the Ramblas area. Cleaned every day.
Very nice hotel located in the centre of Barcelona which could satisfy most of tourists especially youngsters.

Good location, clean with basic facilities including room safe & priced fairly. English spoken. Although breakfast is available, this was not made clear by the desk staff until checkout, although we had asked! Metro station Parallel close by.
Stayed here before and will always use when I go to Barcelona for business or leisure. Well placed and great value. Reception staff always speak good english. A bit noisy in the mornings when you can hear the trolleys being moved around and a lot of doors banging.
The hotel was quite outstanding, The staff were most helpfulland courteous. We have stayed in Hotels all over Europe and it is a pleasure to find a gem like this one and we would most definately stay there again.

5 mins from la ramblas. room v.good. mini bar.conti breakfast v.good. was there 3 nights and bedding & towels changed every day.
Location very good because it's 50 metres from the metro.
Basic hotel, excellent considering the two star rating. The location is just slightly off centre, but within walking distance of Rambalas and port area.

The hotel Paral.lel is a hotel I have used in the past. I have found the staff to be friendly and helpfull and the rooms and facilities to be very clean. I have recommended this hotel to many of my colegues particularly for its location not far from the ramblas.

A small hotel based in an excellent location, everything is within 10 - 15 mins walking distance max. One end is the port and beaches and at the other is the centre with the restaurants, bars and shops. There is also the chance to see parade's everyday as the hotel is situated on the festival street.
