It was very close to the various trams and the museum district.

Hotel was very modern. Not your typical hotel in Amsterdam. Location is great for the major sites. staff not able to answer simple questions, like restaurants that are good in the area. Everyone was very receptive and attentive.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right close to Rijks Museum, Liendesplan...close to restaurants and you can hop on a canal bus within minutes! Friendly nd helpful staff, great rooms & most importantly comfortable beds & clean bathrooms! For European standards the room is quite large.

The price seemed rather too high for - a new bedroom, very clean, very comfortable bed BUT - breakfast not included in price Television had not been adjusted for good viewing One bedside light switch did not work. The porter said someone would come to fix it, but over two days' stay, the switch was still not fixed. However, I am not a regular user of hotels, so cannot compare with others.

The hotel is an excellent location for both the first time and repeat visitor to Amsterdam. The staff are very attentive, helpful and will do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. However, for the price payable, the bedrooms could do with a makeover and new beds. The bathroom in my room had already been renovated. However, don't let this put you off as this is my favourite hotel in Amsterdam, on the doorstep to the major musuems, canals, attractions, yet quiet and private for a truly relaxing time. If you are just here for a few days, the personal service you get here will far outweigh your small TV and lack of minibar ! Enjoy it before it becomes too pricey.

The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. It was so good to see such excellent teamwork where all interacted to make guests feel comfortable. It was unfortunate that nearly everyone in Amsterdam appears to be totally dependent on tobacco as a means to survive, so it was virtually impossible to find a non-smoking restaurant. However, the food was beautifully presented on the occasions we dined in the hotel.

The staff were pleasant and helpful and the location was great. It was very close to all of the major museums but a bit too close to ta busy street. I would, however, book a room there again.

Pleasant welcome, was upgraded "free of charge" but fee of nearly £100 per night was considered too high, location is very good for city centre, taxi fare was approx £6 from Central station but confirm this before getting into a taxi avoid non english speaking taxi drivers that can't confirm price!
