The Park Hotel is located opposite Valentine’s Park, which is beautiful and well cared for, covering over 136 acres. There are amenities for tennis, mini-golf, swimming and boating. The park is well known for its old English garden, the Rosary Terrace and its lakes. The hotel is ideally placed for all public transport – a few minutes walk from Central London Line Underground, Gants Hill, and British Rail, Ilford stations (twenty minutes to Central London). It is, therefore, an ideal situation for visiting London to see the sights. Eight bus routes pass the door to Barking, Dagenham, Chigwell and further afield. Park Hotel has been established for over twenty-five years and is run as a family business by the resident proprietors. Free car parking is available in the hotel grounds.

Cheap and cheerful! A good option for a cheap stopover outside of central London. There's parking too. You wouldn't want to spend too much time there though!
Very basic budget accomodation stuck in a 1980s timewarp. Has the defensive feel of somewhere often abused by guests. Perfectly good breakfast with excellent coffee served by friendly staff. Tablemats picture the building in happier times and cheerful pictures attempt to cheer the run down decor.

In general good, a few comments, the breakfast was good and plentiful.
The hotel was clean and it has got a very friendly atmosphere.
The Park Hotel, Ilford has adequate accommodations at low rates which include a very nice English breakfast. Surface transportation is available just outside the door and the underground only minutes away in either direction. Resturants, fast food, and shopping are plentiful within easy walking distance. The staff are very congenial. This is just the place if a traveler is more concerned with other activities rather than spending large amounts of money for a place to sleep.
