Park Hotel Villa Fiorita Treviso

"The pool area is great for the Kids and makes up for the remote location - very limited facilities in the village - 2 restaurants & the hotel (which is pricey) and a cab into town is 35euro each way (Aug 08) so can add to the bills...Great service - ok for a trip to Venice via Treviso if you get your planning right and staff very attentive...40% that we will stay there again - but not a bad break given 1 day is enough to see venice and you can relax at the hotel when you are done - total travel time on public transport from Venice was 1 & 1/2 hours." - Steven Randall

"The six restaurants you are supposed to be able to eat in do not exist. They are for coach parties only. The American Bar is an "A la carte" menu only so not suitable for children. This is not stated on the website. The American bar snack food is very basic and boring. However, the pool is excellent and there are some very friendly and helpful staff members. Aqua gym, although advertised in reception, does not exist, nor does the table tennis table and the jacuzzi is hit and miss. There are no spa facilities as is also suggested. Local railway station is Meolo, staff do not tell you this. Perfect for Venice but you need a car. Pool shuts on Saturday afternoons for weddings and there is no balcony furniture." - helen gerrish

"The rooms at the hotel were excellent , and clean . The staff were helpful . I was disappointed with the "American bar " as there wasn't really anything American about it , And the menu's in the hotel were not translated into English (for those that do not speak Italian) . The pool area was lovely a really nice place to relax and spend a day . Although you are not always able to avail of the pool . For our 2nd two days the pool area was closed this was a big disappointment as the hotel is actually a 20min bus journey to Treviso ( the hotel is in Monestir not Treviso as advertised) or a €40 taxi ( the bus service stops at about 7.30pm) and ders not alot to do in monestir so Treviso is really your only option!!!" - Anonymous
