Great location, excellent room although the shower was a bit scary perched on the edge of the building. Staff weren't overly friendly although it is the holiday season and things may have been a bit busy. Poor things, where's the training? And the smiles? When I asked about car parking, the web advertised price of $18 jumped to $22 "ah, that needs to be amended." I remember when this place was built, and in that era every new hotel had a car park for each room, so why the need for greed now? Sadly many hotels do the same thing. The option is to leave the rented car on the street and risk it being trashed by passing drunks. Breakfast is a basic price of $19.50. Although I only wanted a quick Continental, the one price fits all irrespective of your needs. Stewed filter coffee was available for the brekky takers but espresso was also available at $3.60. The whole brekky thing must've been pretty good value as the number of outsiders availing themselves of this facility probably helps the bottom line a bit. Overall, a good place to stay but staff need smartening up.
Room was good but needed some refurb and had a smell of paint. The hotel resturant was a bit slow to serve but good value - Breakfast food was a bit average.
Great location! By riverbank and convenient transportation, less than 20 mins walk to city centre. Spacious room, good facilities and service!
Great position , nice staff and good service
We stayed here to go to a show at QPAC . We had a River View Apartment which was worth the extra money for the view . We also had breakfast included in our price which was good value . The walk across the William Jolly Bridge was easy from right outside the Park Regis and straight across to QPAC. We would recommend this accommodation and the good deal that we had with Hotel Club.
Overall happy with our stay in one bedroom apartment. Living area was of a good size, although the bedroom was a tight squeeze with a portacot. Bathroom needed to be updated but was adequate. Good location between Southbank and the city, easy walking distance.
Pleasantly surprised for a change. It's not luxury, but big, clean room with a modern look to it and pretty good views. I booked it for the good location and the budget price at the time, so the rest was a bonus. Would stay there again - no worries.
This is by far the best place I've ever stayed at, I had a one bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, air conditioning etc. and considering the price I was more than happy. Would definitely stay there again. RD
I enjoyed my stay at Park Regis North Quay Brisbane in September 2010. I had a great view and the location was very central.
One bedroom apartment was a good size with separate lounge and dining areas as well as bedroom. Hot buffet breakfast was reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant ($18). This was offset by the fact that the room was described as 'newly refurbished' when it clearly wasn't (and needed a refresh in several areas).
Room service each morning was very average, coffee table still had marks on it from the night before (looks like itdidnt get wiped over each day) cusions from the lounge were not put back onto the lounge they just left sitting on the floor
The one bedroom apartment had a very thin sliding door which was a bit awkward when getting a child to sleep, but the fantastic view made up for it! We enjoyed our stay.
A hotel that is well overdue for a reno. I understand that they were renovating the second floor at the time of our visit, I only hope that the rest of the hotel is included as well.
My husband and I were blown away at the size and quality of the room...not to mention the beautiful view. Will definately stay there again.
Small but very functional room with a delightful outlook over the river. It was most satisfactory for us.
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and it had plenty of room and a small self contained kitchen. There is also a great view of the city from some rooms. We were dissapointed to have to pay an additional $30 for a cot for our baby even though the woman on reception originially told us it was $20.
Nice and cheerful hotel. Close to both Suncorp and Queens St. Good for the price. Stayed there a few times now and will again.
Great view from the 7th Floor - neat clean and tidy apartment. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for a CBD location with river views.
Checked in late in the night at the Hotel and opened the cupboard to make a cup of Coffee, there was a cockroach. Went in to the bathroom and found a huge lizard. Rooms were spacious, we were there for one night. Would not stay there again.
Well appointed - better than i had expected. Wish I had more time to spend here.
