Park South Hotel New York

I placed the location level down but not for any good reason. Being a seasoned New York City traveler I understand that getting a cab is not difficult. However, there are some travelers that like to be within "walking distance" of the main attractions. If that is the case then yes, this location will not suit you. However, a simple $10.00 cab fare will get you to any of the attractions your looking for. The room, staff, lobby bar, wifi were exceptional and I have never experienced better in all my trips to NY. It will be a new staple for my business trips to the city.

Perfect boutique hotel for a weekend stay in the city. It was close to everything... clean and worth the price. Def would stay again.

My wife and I did a short get-away. We took an early bus from DC and by 11:30 am we were checked in. The location was perfect and pretty much walk around for two days. The hotel staff was very good and complimentary. The continental breakfast was very good.Definetly will stay again.

this was a great find! all staff very helpful and friendly, very clean and comfortable room, excellent location for subway access, free internet access, great breakfast, free newspaper, what more could you want!! I will be back and will recommend to any friends.

The size of the rooms are very small but the hotel was in a great location and has a very nice restaurant/bar area downstairs. It was very clean and modern very happy overall.

Rooms was small even by NYC standards. Decent place to stay for money. When keys stopped working it took two trips to the front desk to get it right. We left an adaptor in room that was not found despite immediate notification. Breakfast were surprisingly robust for a continental offering. Clientele was cosmopolitan.

We stayed for two nights, and we enjoyed our stay. We had our two teenage sons with us. No problems. The staff were terrific, very helpful. The place was clean and tidy. We would go back again, for sure.

Great value for the price. Good location, right on the subway line. Room was a bit small but clean and quiet. I would recommend this hotel.

The rooms are a little on the small side. Also, the room we had on the 19th-21st october did not have a bathtub which would have been nice. We asked to move but were told there were nor free rooms.

Good place to stay. Rooms and bathrooms very clean. Central location. Generous breakfast buffet and nice bar & restaurant. We recommend it!

Nice and clean. Subway right outside plus great services including drugstore and late night market on the block. Breakfast also good, simple but quality selection of breakfast items.

It is a good choice on that price in Manhattan. the staff was helpful, but the room was extremely small. (It is enough if you go home only for sleep..)

A great little hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Rooms not huge, but big enough; nice decor, clean and with good-sized bathrooms. Continental breakfast was included, which is unusual for NY. A wide variety of restaurants and delis nearby, and close to subway. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to New York.

WOW!!! Great place, Great room, Great staff...we we're treated wonderfully, very professional, very helpful, Extraordinary small hotel!!! The car was waiting to take us to the airport...everything was flawless. We will definitely tell everyone and go back to this hotel! Easy access to subway!

The room we had (two doubles) was on the smaller side, but everything was very clean and well maintained. If you can live without super huge rooms, you'll have a nice stay here. The location is a hike to the theater district, but the subway stop is 200 feet from the hotel. You're 6-8 blocks from the Empire State Building and the surrounding neighborhood seemed safe as well. I just can't say enough about the staff. How often have you stayed in a nice hotel only to let a bad experience with the hotel staff ruin it for you? Every employee we encountered was smiling and polite. This place may have a 3-star rating, but they treated us with 4-star treatment. Had it not been for the spot-on stop-by-stop subway directions from the man behind the front desk, we certainly would've missed our ride home. The free continental breakfast and the affordable room price were the two main reasons we booked our stay here. I really can't say enough about the Park South. A fantastic stay!
